To me, these words are about attitude and setting the tone of any relationship.
People, no matter who, should be cherished and regarded with respect, love. Saying I love you is so simple and so effective in righting hurts if needed.

I loved it over 20 years ago and was recently reminded of it when I was looking for songs by Mandy Barnett (who does a beautiful version herself), then found it on Holly Dunn's 1992 "Getting It Dunn" CD. But I will always love Karen Brooks' version and am so glad to have heard it again today. Thanks!
