@Movieco2010 dude u wanna explode the house.. u need to take a picture of the same place without the house(so as to show how the scene will look like after its exploded) so take a picture of the scenery behind the house ... and then use the shatter plugin after masking out the house... and u r ready to go

He puts a smoke emitter to hide his mask of the building that he does while the smoke is in the upper layer to hide the transition of the building being cut. He then keyframes the opacity to fade out to resemble how smoke particles fade.
