  • That movie was messed up. love it still. But i never eat anything watching the story with the roaches, EEEKS .. gross me out!

  • I remember how much I enjoyed my Varese/Sarabande LP when I could manage somebody buying me a copy in the US. One of my all-time favourite electronic scores of the 80's and one of the ones released : (

  • Take a look at ours we did remake of jordy few more to come

  • "The next time I find you with a worthless piece of shit like this, you won't sit down for a week Buddy Boy! Tuck in!"

  • I love the theme to this film! I especially love how the composer added in the laugh of The Creep to the original track

  • Holy Shit! 0.0 This is the first song (that I recall) that actually gave me goosebumps................

    AWESOME!!!! :D

  • I can hold my breath for a lonnnnng timmmmmeeeee!

  • For my money, the very best horror movie ever made.

    It had the Unholy Trinity

    King

    Romero

    Savini

    'nuff said.

  • My favorite movie soundtrack next to The Day the Earth Stood Still '51 of course ;) I mean how can you beat the theremin and a steel guitar in the same score? :D

  • I was sort of disappointed when they left the creep's laugh out of the ending credits on the soundtrack :/

  • Mother: Dan you didn't have to...

Dad: hit him? Not only do I find he's reading this crap he's a --- damned little snoop as well!

Kid: no! It wasn't like that!! You asked me to get your cuff links it was on Sunday!

  • @mewtoo007

    Those sex books!!!

  • Fun fact, The Kid is actually Stephen King's son, Joseph Hillstrom King, aka Joe Hill whom we comic nerds know as the author of the critically acclaimed Locke and Key comic series.

  • One of my all-time favorite horror movies.

  • three 6 mafia sampled this on thier song "mafia niggas" . . .

  • I can still hear the Laugh...

  • love the movie and album

  • Are those lyrics or just mutterings I hear?

  • hihihihihihi >:)

  • I LOVE the ending to this theme at 3:55 which acts as the introduction to "Father's Day", like saying " Presenting: The first segment of all the Creepshow stories, and this is only the beginning!"

  • Does anyone have the tabs for this?

  • Where's my cake Bedelia!!?!?!?! It's Fathers Day Bedelia, and I want my cake!!!!

  • hehe crypt ceeper

  • this was the first horror movies i ever saw

  • "Hey fuck you dad!" wait that wasnt in the movie..

  • @gus361

    "ready for another shot, dad"?

  • @gus361 Well the kid didn't say that in so many words, but that was the idea he had in his head!

  • I want to learn how to -play the piano part!!! Does any body have sheet music?

  • Nifty trivia: During the shoot for Creepshow, Stephen King was, of course, on set with his son, Joe. Tom Atkins, the dad in the prologue slaps him in the film, leaving a make-up effects mark. King said that, later, he took Joe to McDonald's and everyone kept giving him (Stephen) these angry looks, since here was this child-beating dad who had "clearly" hit his 9-year-old son in the face. It took Stephen and Joe a while to realize what the problem was.

  • Best horror movie EVER made. No joke. I love this damn movie. Been a fan for over 20 years now.

  • "No need to get jumpy, they all gone bluuuub bluuub bluub bluuub bluuub bluuuub" rip leslie neison

  • ...because ...they creep up on you!!

  • "Fathers Day" is by far my favorite segment, even though I do love the whole film.. I'd have to rate them in this order - "Father's Day", "The Crate", "The Lonesome Death of Jody Verrill", "They're Creeping Up On You", and "Something To Tide You Over" .. I think the reason I put STTYO is the whole drowning thing.. Icky.. Thumbs up for Lesley Nielson though :)

  • I want my cake!

  • I want this soundtrack so bad!

  • I love the fact that Leslie Nielson (rest his soul) plays a bad-ass!

  • The only movie I bought a soundtrack from.

  • I CAN HOLD MY BREATH FOR ALOOOOOONGG TIME!!!!

    (tide comes in)

  • Bedilia you bitch!!!

  • You're all a bunch of dirty vultures who just want to get your hands on my money!

  • I have been trying to get this album since I was in college! Dennis

  • Meteor shit!

  • Love this movie, but one of the scariest theme songs in my book!!!!

  • "They Creep up on You"

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!

  • "Pass those scones, Cass. You're such a hog. You married a great hog Henry, but then I suppose you know that, don't you? Our Cass has always had an extremely healthy appetite."

  • I love when the crypt keeper lokks at the camera then turns into a cartoon

  • @myusernameisgood410

actually, he's known as "the creep".

  • @ffejgib The creep was in creepshow 2 not 1 though, right?

  • @ffejgib He hangs out with that kid billy too much...I wish a creepy dead guy would show up to my house-him for instance

  • @myusernameisgood410 The Crypt Keeper is tales from the crypt.

  • @myusernameisgood410 the crypt keeper is from tales from the crypt.

the mascot for creepshow is the creep

  • @myusernameisgood410 I think you got mixed-up with Tales From The Crypt.

  • @myusernameisgood410 Yes, today I am sure everything would be hyper-CGI, but the whole opening when The Creep takes us out of the window, over the lawn, points to the garbage can and uncovers the lid---fantastic opening! I wish director's and companies would take more risks with older fx.

  • @myusernameisgood410 Crypt Keeper is from Tales from the Crypt and the Creep is from this movie :)

  • beautiful

  • "The next time, young man, I find you with a worthless piece of shit like this again, you won't sit down for a WEEK Buddy Boy! Remember THAT!"

Kid: "I hope you ROT IN HELL...."

  • Something to tide you over story!!!!!

R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen.. you were great =D

    Dont call him Shirley...

  • 0 dislikes! Epic!! Love it

  • I love horror movies and I have to admit...Creepshow is one of my favorites. This theme song is the bomb!. The piano makes it sound very "creepy"!! Thanks for posting it!! :-)

  • I sometimes wish the movie was as scary as the music... but then again, the comedy is what makes the movie so great.

"It's Father's Day, and I got my cake."

  • "Just tell it to call you Billie, you bitch!!"

  • I got my cake....

  • @babyriley1921

He got more screen-time in this, but clearly his finest role was "Hoagie Man" in Knightriders.

  • nostalgia

  • Amazing! Such a magnificent Piece, fusing modern production and classical playing. I'm glad it's day time, because even the happy part of this track scares the shite out of me!

  • @bagooshxxx

    there's a happy part????

  • Thanks so much for posting. You can see every scene flashing before your eyes as you listen. One of the best horror sdtks EVER! So perfect. 8)

  • Where I can downland this great music??!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • 1:52. That's when it gets good.

  • GREAT SOUNDTRACK, REALY NICE!!!!

  • There was a full version of the theme, this isn't it.

  • @CharlesVariations

are you talking about the theme from the end credits?

    i have that one too.

  • @ffejgib

Oh i see, its soundtrack 08, thanks! I like that one a lot better.

  • @ffejgib

Yeah! that one! soundtrack 08! Cool!

  • i wasnt even born when this movie camed out

but seriously stephen king and george a romero that comme together and king whit an role in the movie ?

what do you want more ?

    and this theme is awsome

  • @dontmakemeMAD1990 I saw this at the drive in when i was like 8 years old, and has remained one of my fav's ever since!

  • @jamdude13 nice storry :)

  • "Meteor shit!"

  • The best horror movie theme ever, in my opinion. It always gives me chills. I wish horror movies were still like this.

  • 3 thumbs up!

  • I want to leard to play this on piano! (So I can terrify my sister while she's sleeping...she has a piano in her bedroom) Can someone tell me where to find the sheet music for this? Thanks much =D

  • Hearing this sends me back to the 80s and gives me an amazing nostalgia attack. This is by far one of the best horror scores I ever heard. (Top 3)

  • @TheElectricDreamer93 I absolutely agree ! I am 38. And that reminds me many souvenirs for my first horror movie. Then, I start to write many novels while listening to this music. Best regards from Switzerland.

  • I hope you rot in hell! lol

  • "Thats why God made Fathers babe, thats why God made Fathers" lol

  • Wow time flies! I still have this album on vinyl! This music was done by composer / Film director John Harrison. Harrison would go on to Direct the Film "Tales Of The Darkside: The Movie" considered to be the "Unofficial Creepshow 3" with King & Romero involved in it. Actual Creepshow 3 was horrible. Big fan of Stephen King & The Director of this film George Romero (Night of Living Dead,Dawn Of The Dead ect.) This whole album was very good at scaring the pants off of Kids trick or treating.

  • and tales from the crypt was the best horror series and movie too! those are my favorites creepshow comes in second for me but this song is way scarier than the TFTC theme.

  • This and The Shining-easily the two best horror movies ever made.

  • What about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and John Carpenter's The Thing?

  • all that you mentioned are winners, but I guess those are my 2 faves. other honorable mentions: Fright night, Evil Dead II, Motel Hell, Lost Boys, Tales from the darkside, Texas Chainsaw 2, Pet Sematary, nightmare on elm st, and a million others...

  • Good choices dude! My top ten favorite are Creepshow, The Thing, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, The Evil Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Evil Dead II, The Shining and A Nightmare on Elm Street.

  • " Did you see that crap? All that horror crap? Things coming out of crates and eating people. Dead people coming back to life. People turning into WEEDS for Christ's sake?"

  • @TheAltair4 my favorite line

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAltair4 That asshole pays!

  • @wandererlain " I'll teach you to throw away my comic books. Ready for another shot dad? Heeheeheeheehee! " lol

  • @TheAltair4

I saw this movie when i was 3 on video with my family, first story creeped me out and the cockroach story gave me the chills. The ending was quite creepy too seeing Detective Cameron getting stabbed in the throat by his kid. He was terrific in My Bloody Valentine 3D as the sheriff, he's always a cop character.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Tom Atkins is the man. He also played a cop in Escape from New York, Maniac Cop, Two Evil Eyes and Bruiser. I saw this masterpiece in theaters when i was 2 going on 3 and loved it completely as it's my favorite horror film of all time.

  • @TheAltair4

What did you think of his comeback in My Bloody Valentine 3D?

  • @Johnlindsey289 It was nice to see finally see him again and his death scene was pretty gruesome. He seems to like playing cops a lot. lol

  • @TheAltair4 Classic!

  • I freakin' love this movie. A friend showed this to me a few years ago,and it was just amazing. :3

  • it is a good one i didn't mind part 2 either but the third one just sucked .

  • Agreed. The 2nd one can't tough the original. And I act like Creepshow III was never made. If the Dudelsons were serious about making a 4th, at least have fan suggestions for stories and not the shit they pulled out of their ass.

  • yeah it did they shouldn have messed with the creepshows they should of left it to the pros george romero and stephen king.

  • This is one of the most underrated horror scores ever.

  • get a fuckin life!

  • ugh...what was that for.

  • I agree, its one of the best i have ever listened too

  • agreed

  • YOU BITCH

  • where can i download free the main theme of this great movie?

  • Mom: Dan you didn't have to...

Dad: Hit him? Not only do I find out he's reading this crap he's a goddam little snoop as well..

Kid: No! it wasn't like that...you asked me to get you your cufflinks... it was on Sunday!!

Damn... that kid has got some serious balls to say that after he got smacked.

  • He has a voodoo doll too...

  • that's why god made fathers babe

    that's why god made fathers

  • The greatest musical theme for a horror film of all time!

  • I want my cake!!!

  • Bedelia, you dirty bitch!!!

  • John Harrison is the God of synthesizers

  • "Shall I glaze the ham now, ma'am?"

  • No Mrs.Danvers, you'll have to wait! XD

  • Very cool man! I can just picture seeing that thing standing outside my window at night. Music kind of reminds me of a murder that happened and they are out trying to find a way to bury the body. lol Great music!!

  • Too bad when the soundtrack was re-released on C-D they didn't add any more music from the movie. They added stuff from John Harrison's other work.

    Nice post though!

  • Awesome music!!! This is one of my favorite horror movies. "That's why god made fathers babe....that's why god made fathers!" At 1:52 when the piano comes in is so chilling and so great. Love it!!

  • very good!
