they didn't make the Hokuto cup matches into manga because Japan loses to China and Korea. You may hate me for saying it but it's true. I actually appreciate Yumi for visiting Korea and interviewing top Korean players (Ko Young Ha's model is Young Hoon 9d) and having courage to reflect reality in her work... Fact is that Korea has been dominant for past 20 years.

They didn't make a movie special of the Hokuto cup, just the "Road to the Hokuto Cup". I think they should and just make all the manga into an anime. So you'll have to read the end of the manga to know more of the tournament.

In my opinion, the guy from 1:18 * which is Isumi* Looks more like Stephen Gevanni from Death note than Light. * Light looks more like Hikaru in my opinion ^^* Look at vol 1 of Death Note & you will see a strong resembles between Hikaru & Light ^-^
