This is a pure punk video -- perfect for this song. The others who don't get it are too young and stupid to know better. I'm sure Iggy would love this. It reminds me of the type of stuff that went on when I was in art school in San Francisco in the late 70s and the punk scene was kicking ass. Iggy wrote this song while with the Stooges in '69 but thought it was too dumb to record until 1980. Glad he finally got around to it.

I saw Iggy several times in '80 when he played the 688 club in Atlanta for a weeklong gig. I met him after the show, and was one of the nuts crazy enough to take him up on his invitation to "come up on stage and play in my band". I grabbed the bass, not being a bassist, I only knew the vamp line for "I wanna Be your dog". It was a great experience. Pure fun, totally real. Iggy is the greatest entertainer and most genuine celebrity alive today.
