I create three different pucture-movie. In top gun 1 I choose pictures with only one plane, in top gun 2 instead I choose pictures with 2 or more planes, in Top Gun 3 you can find great pictures with planes details like cockpit, weapons, tails, wings ecc. or also special situations like refueling procedure. Take a look at the other videos. Top Gun 3 is my favorite one ;-)

Cool pictures of US fighter jets but seeing USAF in there just turned me off. Why we even have a USAF is beyond me. We don't need it. The US Navy trains theeeee best fighter pilots in the world. But I guess when the Navy needs a flying gas station, they call the USAF for a drink of fuel. So they are worth something I suppose.
Now that its official there will be a topgun 2. The question thats bugging me is what plane are they going to use. There is nothing that even comes close to the absolute sleek and sexy look of that of the F-14. I'm just scared that this is gonna turn into just a stupid JAG episode. I say base this movie around 2003 before the Tomcat was retired to allow it to fly in this movie. And most importantly, who's the enemy with their mysterios Mig 28 like plane? I don't think the Russian Federation.
@bryce2197 The F-14 was a gas guzzling pig that was a maintenance nightmare. When I was stationed in San Diego, I hung out with some AE's, ABM's and other airedales and they all said they hated working on that airframe. I absolutely love the Tomcat as a kickass all-weather, all-pupose interceptor but as a full-dog fighting aircraft, they just don't work. They're just too big for that. The Raptor would be a good replacement.
@rollinjukebox Yeah I I know its not practical in today's Navy. I'm sure it was a nightmare on maintenence. I'm just speaking in movie terms. I just can't see that 80's coolness about fighter interceptors in the F-22, although I doubt doubt for a minute the F-22's capabilities. I just believe that the F-14 and Top Gun are an inseparatable duo. There is just nothing as cool as a supersonic swept back wing aircraft flying!
