Looks like either a Black Milk snake (Lampropeltis triangulum gaigeae) or a Mexican Black Kingsnake (L. getula nigrita)

I agree. Black Mambas are more gray than black, but the interior of their mouth is black. They're not only one of the deadliest snakes on the planet, but also one of the fastest, clocked at speeds of up to 17mph!

the puffhatter is a very dangerous snake, venom wise but most people get bitten when they accidently step on them. Their brown multi-pattern skin give them good camoflage.

They must have given the mamba the day off and stuck another black snake in there so the visitors wouldn't be disapointed.
Scales are too small, too smooth and the wrong shape. The head is the wrong shape. Appears to be black on the bottom.
Before you ask, I keep mambas and have photographed them in detail.
Not sure what it as though. Maybe a cobra or a king snake.

Friend, I took this video when I visited Bronx Zoo, the on the cage - Black Mamba was written, The color difference may be due to the differential lighting within the glass chamber.

I love mambas, the black and the green mambas belong to my favorite snakes.
But the color of a black mamba is actually grey/olive-grey...
That doesn't really look like a black mamba.
