  • this is no black mamba...i have seen lots of real ones as i live in South Africa

  • I heard someone tapping on the glass...dumb motherfuckers...doesn't anyone know that snakes are deaf???

  • Mexican black kingsnake.. I used to have one BEST SNAKE IN THE WORLD

  • I can`t look at snake stuff on u tube because it`s all stuff like this shit!! tossers. Black mamba my arse, and why bang on the glass?! ignorant bastards.

  • agree feebix

  • black mambas arent black do your research lol

  • WHY WOUDL YOU TAP THE GLASS?

  • Looks like either a Black Milk snake (Lampropeltis triangulum gaigeae) or a Mexican Black Kingsnake (L. getula nigrita)

  • Yeah, it's definitely not a Black Mamba.

  • if that were a black mamba it would strike and defend . and leave that poor snake alone

  • i think dats a mexican black kingsnake

  • who are the fucking idiots tapping on the glass? leave the snake alone, dumbasses.

  • that is defintly not a black mamba

  • the color is off on that snake

  • I agree. Black Mambas are more gray than black, but the interior of their mouth is black. They're not only one of the deadliest snakes on the planet, but also one of the fastest, clocked at speeds of up to 17mph!

  • now i belive the black mamba is the most venomus snake or the puffer adder

  • the puffhatter is a very dangerous snake, venom wise but most people get bitten when they accidently step on them. Their brown multi-pattern skin give them good camoflage.

  • Yeah, Ifishel is right, i think they duped you with a rat snake. sorry guys!

  • They must have given the mamba the day off and stuck another black snake in there so the visitors wouldn't be disapointed.

Scales are too small, too smooth and the wrong shape. The head is the wrong shape. Appears to be black on the bottom.

Before you ask, I keep mambas and have photographed them in detail.

Not sure what it as though. Maybe a cobra or a king snake.

  • sorry not a black mamba.

  • def not a blk mamba

  • yeah i dont think its a mamba either, looks more like an indigo snake

  • Friend, I took this video when I visited Bronx Zoo, the on the cage - Black Mamba was written, The color difference may be due to the differential lighting within the glass chamber.

  • I love mambas, the black and the green mambas belong to my favorite snakes.

But the color of a black mamba is actually grey/olive-grey...

That doesn't really look like a black mamba.
