i have drove all of these and this was BS .the gator has 4 wheel drive(only the back 4) where was that at and it's a farm rig 1/2 the price . the ranger would have done all of that and will go though 3 of water no problem also well haul ass down trails with very little bumps don't get me wrong the argo is a hell of a rig i just hate BS videos

Argo will get through tougher places, but are slow and rough riding. Also very high maintenance. I put 5k into fixing a Avenger with 240 hours, All axel bearing and the front chains, sprockets, brakes rotors and pads were shot because the guy never lubed them. Sad for a $24000 machine

This whole video is idiotic. Test #1, do people now days try to get stuck? Ranger could easily get over the moguls. Test#2, who cares about turning? Its called take 2secs to back up. Test #3, they dont even try putting more than one person in the ranger. Test #4, they dont even use the ranger because they know that it would just be another loss for the argo. Test#5, last time I checked there are ways around water and who likes going 3mph? Test# 6 and 7 they didnt bother to finish.

This video is really bad... I think those all terrain Argo vehicles are good you are not making a fair comparison. I got to drive the Kubota RTV500 around an off road track It wasn't anything mad but there were very steep inclines and declines... In your test number three you displayed a mild looking hills and the 4x4's not being able to get up to the top. If they couldn't reach the top it was not the vehicles it must be the operator.

We had an Argo and had all kinds of problems trying to turn in mud because the 1/2 the wheels stopped ( one side ) and then all the wheels have to push sideways against the mud when pivoting. Also the low ground clearance lead to all kinds of problems getting hung up on tree stumps and rocks.

they could have made a much more honest video... my polaris will do everything that this will do, while towing... it will not go in water and why they even did a "comparison" is pretty crazy. These things are cool, but they tear up the grass terribly and are way too slow. Plus, take a look at those tires, in order for them to work in water they'd have to be almost new, taking a skid steer approach how long do you think they'd last?

I remember reading a test some years ago on a British farming mag of a Max 6x6 and an equivalent Argo- they found the Max would keep going where the Argo was beaten, mainly because the Max had no differential and maintained drive to both sides...they did find the Max a little noisier but reckoned it was a small price to pay. Now I've never seen one of these machines up close and am just wondering what those of you who use them think.
