Hello Roy ,your boards are laminate with fiber or you just use varnish or use some epoxy resin direct on wood.

The panels are laminated using epoxy resin and wood fibre, the boards are inished with clear epoxy resin usually with no structural cloth.

I love the shape man. It looks like an Aztec hatchet. I put together a parallel profile fish and really learned a lot. Almost every step I was thinking to myself, "so that's why he does that."

I don't think people really understand what you are doing with your shapes. But your building style has this romantic low tech aboriginal feel to it that really catches my interest. Your stuff is anything but low tech. You make me think hard about what I am doing when I make a board.

Thanks, the board is heading off next weekend the 24th of Nov on the first leg of the journey which is a tour of New Zealand, hopefuly including some big wave spots. A video will be made and we will post dsome footage as it comes through ( the board is being passed from surfer to surfer up and down the country ) Anyway looks like it will be next winter in Hawaii not this one, gives us time to save up for the freight
