I personally think that their first album "unresolved childhood issues" is their best one. Although this album and this song is ok it just doesnt have that original raw feeling to it. This album sounds too much like that NOFX Fat Wreck Chords stereotype bands. The first album Andrew's (singer) voice was more raw. His newer band Highwire Days was awseome too. I recommend that one. But of course like Screw 32, Highwire Days broke up. Truely awesome music by these guys.
@easySTPeezy if this is true, you tell your uncle that back in the mid-nineties his band changed the way a twenty year old dude in Alabama saw punk music. Under the Influence of Bad People was one of the most influential albums that I have ever owned. They took the DC sound and merged it with the SoCal sound to create what can only be described as awesomeness. Fifteen years later this album still holds up. Props.
this song was on a sick bmx video like...12 years ago haha. search it on google videos: Ride BMX - Thunder. I downloaded this song shortly after that and have had it ever since.
GREAT SONG ALL TIME AWESOME BAND!!! I saw them at La Vals pizza back in '99 they were a new band with a different name hough. Can't remember the name but it was fun to watch.
Cages at 1:04 are Torrocadaro Transfer (RIP) . I think this video only cost $1.05 to make. Streets of SF in the background.
Very cool band. Despite being on the left coast they managed to channel a bit of what was going on in NYHC at the time. Glad I found this. Get the CDs if you can find them. There are even better songs than this on 'em.
The album this song is on is good. But the album before this is more original and great. Check it out. Not too many people know of it, "unresolved childhood issues"
Ya well 88 fingers louie is pretty much just Rise Against now. Just a new drummer and another bassist. I hope they decide to get back together and do a tour sometime as 88 fingers.
The outro at 1:23 gives me goosebumps, and 2:00--more goosebumps. I first bought this cd from Fat Wreck back in like 1996. Also check out the band Limp.
wow that singer is amazing, i wish he was going on tour soon, so i could attend and see him again. love you andrew, keep me posted, cant wait to see you!

My kids introduced me to these guys in the 90s, Oakland, Ca. Definitely my favorite band of the period.
