i was , believe it or not , i was on okinawa in 1979 thur 1980 when "TIP" hit the island damn what a storm. She blew everything from the "pacific" side of the island to the "china sea side" it took us as well as the okinawians days if not weeks to get things back to some form of normalicy....f@@k I'll never forget that one

A greeting friend!.. the size of the eye of Tip was small: 15 kilometers of diameter; it is typical of very powerful hurricanes the small eye (although it is not a rule), in another cyclone as Mónica if it would enter with facility. Also the size that is mentioned of these systems; Marco and Tracy, is relative since it is necessary to bear in mind the wind radio strongly of hurricane or tropical storm :)
