A good example of the law of attraction is a mobile phone and a speaker. If someone is calling you, before the phone rings, your speaker is making the ticking sound. When we REALLY accept in ourselves all fears, negative emotions, EVERYTHING, then all suffering disappears just by looking at it without judgement. We can't attract anything, because we have no real power over our life. ...
When we fight ourselves and try to control our life, due to the fear of being helpless, it only creates suffering, negative emotions, fear and all this is a catch-22. Because it will be easier for You to become happy when You don't care whether You are happy or not.
This ideology of Law of Attraction makes You crave for control instead of stopping to resist who You are and it might give better results for some people than if the person didn't believe this, but in actuality it will have drawbacks sooner or later. That is because most people don't know what they really want. So even if this Law of Attraction thing gives them confidence to achieve something, in the end they will realize that is not what they wanted.
And if they follow this attitude, they will NEVER be truly happy, always chasing a new goal. But that might be 20 years later and the people selling books will have already earned their cash.

I found each time I read those books something new reveals itself to me. You can get those books for free on scribd.
Listen. I already found my guidance. And the knowledge I gained from it logically explained to me, why Law of Attraction, as much as it tries it's best and might help many, temporarily, it will blow You in the face in the end. Yep. It's actually a form of religion, because it's based on a belief, not on knowledge that is provable. It actually MIGHT make people better in the short term, get them out of depression and helplessness, but in the end, it can be tragic and make the person suffer. That is because this ideology makes a person do the exact opposite of what he should do inside Himself. Which is CRAVE CONTROL, instead of LETTING GO. If a person chooses not to believe that or can't understand that then anything that is said after that point on that topic isn't going to make any sense either.

A good example of the law of attraction is a mobile phone and a speaker. If someone is calling you, before the phone rings, your speaker is making the ticking sound. But somethimes you hear the sound, but no one is calling. That means that a person was about to call you, was considering it, but eventually decided not to. At least it worked with me.

Harris - Jesus Taught It Too (The Early Roots Of The Law Of Attraction)) and then tell me if you still have the same opinions. You even said a lot has chnaged since you wrote that one comment.
