@shannonhug13 I think you must mean the effects. If you go to the manycam website they have animal effects that you can download and add to Manycam - then you can select them from the Manycam program when it's running.

@20mhicka Do you mean the beta version that's out? I assume it's the same process. Install Manycam. Run Skype, choose Tools, Options, Video and then select the Manycam Virtual Webcam as your cam source. That should do it.

@20mhicka Ah, I'm still using version 3 of Skype so I'm afraid I can't be much help - but in version 4 there should be a section to set up your video and I'm betting you'll find the option to choose your webcam in there, in which case, choose the Manycam Virtual Webcam

@loler438 Hi - I actually used the website 'animoto' to create the visuals for the intro. Then I found a royalty free sound clip and edited it together with the visual file to create the whole intro. Thanks for your kind comments about my videos. I've been very busy with work and other stuff over the past few months, but more videos will be coming.

Acer Aspire one Netbooks are shipped by default with Linpus Linux lite - Kevin, you can try to run it under Wine; in fact I own that exact netbook :)

i have manycam 2.4 and whenever i try to save a picture from it or open a movie it stops responding,

my processing power is definitely not at fault here, but i am using an integrated (acer crystal eye) webcam instead of an external one. will this be why it is not working fully?

You don't need to have Skype - the software will work with Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger as well as many other messenger clients - the website provides full details.

I haven't used Oovoo, but as long as the client software allows you to set your video source in its options then I don't see why it shouldn't work 0 you would just choose 'Manycam' instead of your webcam.
