What about a video on backing down and posting up if you're not as agile as the rest? Physical play can be really demoralizing, and I want to take advantage of my bulking up.
@jackcullen69 Backing the defensive player down is not the best way to beat them. Learn three or four post moves that will allow you to take advantage of their weaknesses. We will be posting additional post moves very soon.
@NewTears1 The situation at the low lost should dictate what you do with the ball. Sometimes we are double teamed and we have to kick the ball outside for a better look. This doesn't have to happen every time you catch the ball however. Read the situation and then react.
@NewTears1 If you're against one defender it's usually best to take him on and shoot, but if you're double teamed, that means one of your teammates is open for a shot. Find him and pass it to him for the assist, unless you still feel you can score.
@jasonbbb You can always try and put your non-pivot foot behind their legs right as you turn to shoot. That prevents them from staying in front of you and blocking your shot, and in some cases, can make them fall down, leaving you a wide open layup.
@MrHellhellhell We will probably not do any videos on the fade shot! It is a difficult shot with very low make percentages. We try to focus on solid moves that are productive. Sorry!
@24Thelakeshow24 you really have to work on "selling" the move. It involves using your eyes, body language, and explosive "plant-and-push" footwork. If you film yourself, we can take a look at it and try to help. Keep trying it though and you'll get better with experience!
Hey there are no videos on dunk mechanics or dunking drills to improve on youtube. I can jump high enough with hand wrist above the rim but just can't finish off the dunks
@ShotScience Yeah, well it's too late, what happen is I posted up too low and spent to the baseline but I was behind the basket so I chucked it up, of course it didn't go in but I tripped so bad that I fell into a lady in a conversation and knocked her drink in to her friends face. Thanks shotscience
@BToledo23 we will have some videos on this, but our best advice is to NOT let them get the ball in the first place! Once they already have the ball, stay on your feet and between the basket. In the post, you should also be getting secondary help from your teammates. Once your man gets the ball, they should collapse with some help D. Still, stay tuned for our videos!
Hey shot science ive been watching yall for a lont time and using you tips cause of you im 9th grader startin on varsity I average 27 points 5 steals 6 rebounds and 5. Somethin blocks and im 6'3 with a 36 inch vert thanks so much guys
hi team shot science i have a question about jumper's knee (patella tendonitis), do You know what is it and how to get rid of that :)....sorry for bad english :D
@MyLife471 we do know what it is and it is a bummer, but we are not doctors, so we can't give you medical advice. Definitely take it easy if it's painful though!
i wanna ask a question. dou you have any tips for me to drive to the rim better? because i'm always afraid to drive in the game. i have pretty good jumpshot but i want to become a player that can shoot and drive so i just didn't rely too much with my jumpshot. Thanks :D
