@mikhailkennedy Really, Anyone can find videos about drunk squirrels, 18 month old preachers, and girls eating shit on here but you can't seem to find any right-wing, conservatively slanted videos? Nice try. Maybe don't watch a program funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education?
Do not scare people with the Harris boogey man (he didn't lie about what he was going to do). Run on your own record not some scare tactic based on 10 years ago.
If anything instills fear in people it's the media and Dalton McGuinty's insistence on If anything instills fear in people it's the media and Dalton McGuinty's insistence on not understanding what the word foreigner (formal) means. People born in other countries ARE foreigners but that doesn't necessarily mean unwelcome. So what if he said foreigners? It's not even an offensive or derogatory term, unless you wanna be a dick about it. (continued)
@BeholdTheExtinction It's the same sort of BS that he pulled last election about public schools, suggesting segregation where there was none.If someone is born in one country and travels or immigrates to another, they are FOREIGN to that nation and thus foreigners.Even if they lived in the second country 40 years they would still technically be foreigners. The point here is that it shouldn't even be an issue because it's ridiculous, there are more important things besides what jargon Hudak uses
I don't want to listen to 3 conservatives tell me who Tim Hudak is. How about someone else who isn't going to say exactly what I imagine them responding.
Just remember, at the end of the 'Common Sense Revolution' Harris & the Tories claimed they had balanced the budget, yet it was discovered there was a 5 Billion dollar deficit. Entire hospitals were closed, nurses were let go, essential services were often cut so thin people actually died waiting for them. Remember Walkerton, that was due to Tory cuts. You want that Ontario again, vote PC, but God help you if you get sick or need a service that falls under the provincial government.
I was born during the Harris years and the hospital I was born in had a lot of cuts (closed after couple of months)
because of this, the nurses made my mom wait hours with a check up and at the last minute, they had to perform a cesection and I almost died as well as my mom.
I just prey that people will not continue on this Conservative train until the whole country is conservative, if it does then Canada will never rebound from this!!
@mats13131 Your an idiot. So you'd prefer everyone be completely broke trying too supply for this government while you bitch about anything but perfect government funded healthcare?
@mats13131 Your just a dirt bag for blaming a politician for your mothers death. You should be ashamed of yourself. WE ALL have long waiting lines! They are longer now than they have EVER BEEN. You are a PIECE OF F@CKING DIRT!
@mats13131 how does a provincial politician instil fear and divides us? Doesn't baseless, senseless, ideologically driven rhetoric divide us and instill fear, not a candidate for public office?
@MyDormantSoul Really? you don't know? when you emerge from under the rock you're living under in a couple months you shall see what I remember seeing during the Mike Harris years. A provincial politician can do alot to divide the people and create a negative atmosphere. But hey, i'm sure you were just a child during those terrible years.....judging from your comment.
@mats13131 I love how you didn't even answer my question and just attacked my character. Typical. Now go do some reading and actually show how a Provincial Conservative politician "divides and instills fear." Good luck with that. And keep your rhetoric to yourself.
Hudak is pure evil. He is the last thing that Ontario needs. The fact that he's on the verge of winning is kind of frightening, as Torontonians are about to get conservative rule on all three fronts. I hope Canada will be able to wake up from this fascist nightmare soon.
@TomJackson986 Tom, Paikin is not an "anchor", he is not a "reporter" and it isn't a "news" show. He moderates a public affairs panel. If anything is funny, it's that you complain about a show being "stupid" when you don't even understand what the show is. Perhaps you should go write speeches for Michele Bachmann.
@edgewaters72 Yes he is, and he has his own government funded television show with a liberal bias. Type Steve Paikin on Google, and pull up the Wikipedia page and it says.... Steve Paikin (born June 9, 1960) is a Canadian journalist, author, and documentary producer at TVOntario (TVO). He is currently 'anchor' and senior 'editor' of TVO's 'flagship current affairs program' The Agenda with Steve Paikin,
@TomJackson986 No, he isn't a journalist, or at least, that's not what he does on his show. GET A DICTIONARY. I don't give a rat's behind what wikipedia says. A journalist is a writer. Maybe Paikin does that as well, but thats not his job on the Agenda.
@edgewaters72 OF COURSE IT IS!!!!! You say hes a moderate public affairs panel, no he is an anchor for a government funded television program called the AGENDA.
@TomJackson986 What "it" are you referring to? Is Paikin an inanimate object? You need more than a dictionary I think, remedial English classes are hereby recommended. You could call him a moderator, or perhaps television host. But as host of the agenda, he isn't a journalist or reporter. He might do that as well ... but it's not part of what he does as host of the show.
@edgewaters72 Whats his job then? He interviews different people every time the show is on? Its a television show that generally talks about current events in politics. I know you dont want too think of him as an ANCHOR or JOURNALIST because you dont want it too be categorized as biased news/debate, and thats CLEARLY what it is.
i think the last ontario provincial election went well for libertarians esp. in comparison to candidates and vote totals over previous elections. I know nothing of Hudaks policies but can't imagine voting for the big blue machine.
Hudak is no Mike Harris, if he was I would vote for him in a second, and I think Hudak is too weak to be compared to a guy like Harris. I prefer to vote conservative but Hudaks weakness (in my eyes at least) may push me to have to vote for someone else. Libertarian maybe.
My wink was an indication that I wasn't really belittleing that choice. I respect standing on principle even in the face of certain defeat.
The Libertarians can't even bother to run a candidate in my riding, so I find them irrelevent. I also think that Hudak will probably give you a good dose of what you want. I'm not entirely sold on him, but willing to give him a shot.
BTW For my own views I lean towards fiscal conservatisim, but find some fiscal libertarian ideas as dogmatic as communist ones. They do not properly take into account human nature.
I would consider myself a social libertrarian thou. That is one reason that I am so dissappointed with our current Conservative federal government.
They waste their political capital on social issues, and have to spend like drunken Liberals to try and buy peoples votes with their own money.
@LeGioNoFZioN I used to think the Liberals made the most sense and even voted for them........but now that I've personally been screwed by some of the Liberals' policies there is no way . The PC's platform is awesome. Whethere they keep their promises or not, I have no idea - but we all know how much Dalton Mcguinty keeps his promises. ;)
As a rule the top videos that are posted are leftist leaning, even if they have 10 hits.
Without diligent digging, knowing exactly what you are looking for you will be presented with the leftest view 99% of the time. REALLY

When it comes to politics, Ontario should look beyond the PC or Liberals.
I did in the past support both and all I have seen is nepotism more taxes
cut of esential services, rent going up every fucking year and the salaries
never increase canada has become just like the rest of the world, the poor
grow poorer and the rich gets richer. Guess who is paying for it?
