  • now that is a fucking pitt stop! just saw a nascar pitt stop....took them like 40 seconds. i've seen people on the biggest loser do it in less time than that.

  • @furuzon12 try 13-16 seconds, and using half as many people as seen here, don't think your better then everyone else and say Nascar is stupid, your just as bad as Nascar fans who say f1 is stupid, be a fan of motorsports or not at all

  • Does anyone knows what the guy at the rear with a "gun" does? The one besides the guy with the jack! THANKS

  • This pit stop was successful... not only team work but every one did his/her task the way he/she was supposed to without looking the person next to him/her...

  • we dont get to see these every week on tv coverage no?

  • USA' series suck cock. Them series is so slow...

  • Holy wow there's what, 21 people over the wall?

  • @LordTeufel all just to change a few tires, jeez remember when this was a one man job :P

  • There is literally NOTHING more mind numbingly boring than watching a bunch of red necks drive in a left hand circle for 500 miles ... seriously, not even comparable to F1. If you really can't take watching formula cars, then try out Australian V8 Supercars. Right up NASCAR's alley, except actually entertaining.

  • @PraetorianBen They even have Ute's here in NZ, so its like NASCAR truck racing! I did get to see a bunch of the NZ V8s and UTEs on a road track in Taupo... seen better driving at amateur SCCA events in west virginia =)

  • @PraetorianBen the drivers arent rednecks, just about 70% of the fans are.

  • Those guys would make a killing in Brooklyn.

  • @arig1987 LOL. Best comment on Youtube.

  • I love f1 because their not just turning left and the cars are freakan fast

  • how does the driver know when to go again? lol when the paddle is lifted from the front of the car?

  • Although im not a racing fan(dont hate me :D) I find this video very cool. Ive watched it over and over seeing exactly what everyone does, can someone enlighten me on what exactly 2 of the guys at the rear of the car are doing? One has a long pole with something on the end that he sticks into the area around the gas intake. The other is holding something that looks like a pressure washer. Just curious about exactly whats going on.

  • @BillHicksADH Hey Bill, There are 3 guys at the back and (my understanding) is that one has a jack/lift to get the car in the air, one has a shield (on a pole) that he uses to block the refuel from spilling and the last one I am not quite sure, I think it is a starter in case the engine dies or the driver stalls when taking off (but I could be wrong). Thanks for commenting!

  • @BillHicksADH the one with the "pressure washer" it's actually a guy with an pressure air gun to clear the engine's intake from aany dust or debris, though im not sure about the guy with the pole

  • Did they refuel?

  • Wow, I am impressed that (after the flame war died down) there is actually a civil conversation being had in regards to F1 vs Nascar. I am pretty sure that most people couldn't handle racing ANY car regardless of what it is... no one really realizes how physical of a sport it is. I started doing 40 min races 2 years ago and can't imagine how an F1 or Nascar driver manages that level of intensity for 2+ hours!

  • i pretty much guarantee that everybody flaming NASCAR couldnt handle one of those cars...

  • @MrYousafBajwa I'm pretty sure they couldn't handle any car at speed on a track for more then 15 mins before being totally exhausting. The real drivers are actually the rally guys. Nascar is physical but, my honest opinion (as someone who has experience racing road cars for 2 seasons) is that it is not as difficult as a road course, especially when there are different types of cars on the track at the same time.

  • @srxkevin try averaging 60mph across the mexican peninsula for 20 hours straight known as the baja 1000

  • @srxkevin nascar has 43 cars on the track at the same time. running 1.5 miles in 29.765 seconds.

  • @srxkevin yeah go Rally :)

  • There is no such thing as a best series. It's just personal choice. Now, I'm a NASCAR fan, but both series' have pro's and con's. NASCAR's pro is it's intense and entertaining racing. I don't want to see a bunch of fucking half-airplanes go around on what looks like my local fucking street! I want to see cars FLYING around superspeedways at 180+ MPH 34 races a year! But, NASCAR's con is all the faggoty moves that Brian France is making. I will post F1 Pro's/Con's in my next comment.

  • @cpcomedy314 How about those F1 pros/cons? I agree that nascar has more "entertainment value" as spectating a road race is not nearly as easy. With all of that being said, I do find nascar boring and more of a popularity contest. It used to be better before the "car of tomorrow" which takes a lot of the engineering aspects out of the racing. Now, F1 on the other hand has gone to far and it has become too much about the car and not about the driver...

  • @cpcomedy314 all nascar is driving in an oval it's not pro you waste time in a steel incubator hoping to god you can make a better left or right turn than the fool behind you. F1 is serious racing, you have very little time to react if you plan on making a good turn plus usually the roads arent as wide as the traditional nascar tracks

  • @bloodyvid Dude I really don't care who's the "better driver". I just think NASCAR is more entertaining. If you don't....Well good for you.

  • @bloodyvid WTF!?! F1? Ever heard the term Rubbins Racin? If you beat and bang in F1, youll be upside down. And Nascar's variety makes the drivers most skilled, racing on 6 different road corses, flats, halfmiles, superspeedways and even a dirt track.

  • @cpcomedy314 hahahah. I don't know what nascar is so i went to check, and my opinion is that it is exactly for stupid americans. cos I have noticed that they r quite simple and like killing, well nascar is both :D plus it doesn't need any talent or any cind of car performance cos 70 % cannge is that u will die before u finnish. I mean no tyres or anything in front of walls? and just going straight ahead :D:D: and 180 mph ?!! f1 cars can do that on an f1 track u idiot.

  • @roossi 70% chance? No one has died in NASCAR since 2001. I'm someone who has raced gokarts for three seasons aswell as been inside of a NASCAR stock car going 170 MPH. Your body is facing around x5 the force of gravity, literally forcing you into an awkward and uncomfortable position while trying to stay calm enough to keep a 3400 pound beast going at that 170 MPH without becoming a piece of scrap-metal. Fucking faggot.

  • el @cpcomedy314 yes I know how it is to drive 180 mph I have 1000 cc gsxr, and I can tellu it is much harder and callencing trying to go trough traffic even at 120 mph... see my other channel if u dont belive /user/kopskupy

but anyway I didnt mean literally that u will die all the time :D but I mean that u will crash very easy at that track at those speeds and with those walls. and honestly whats fun with going just straight what about all the hard S turns and crazy overtaking and all...

  • @roossi No sorry its /user/kopskup

I dont know where that Y came from :D

  • @roossi lmpresionande muito rapido

  • @brasil5822 Ok ?! I don't speak that language... sorry...

  • @srxkevin

i bet you want to have yourself one of those "Atoms" featured on BBC's Top Gear eh? cause i do! hahahha

    arielmotor(dot)co(dot)uk

  • @dyordyen I'd love an atom... the one with the Honda Type R motor. I got to see one up close at the track I race at, the guy said it was an awesome experience!

  • Yes, attractive, physical, and precise. Three words that definitely come to mind when you think of NASCAR, or the people who view NASCAR on a regular basis.

  • There is nothing impressive about watching rednecks go in circles. Why are you watching this video. Isn't there some nascrap you can circle jerk to? Nascar and precise should never be in the same sentence. The only time Nascar is tolerable to watch is when they are on a road course and then its a comedy.

  • @srxkevin Pffff ! ! Look at every single person in this video! You'll see what i'm talking about!

    1 person removes the tire

1 person put the other tire

    1 person lock the tire

1 person holds the reeds gas

1 person holds the gas pipe

    .........................

What's the deal? They can't do a real pit stop?

In NASCAR there's so much things to do for just 1 person and that's why the precision IS and will Always be a part of their pit-stop!

  • @srxkevin

I don't think you really understand the sport of stock car racing, and instead of actually watching it you decide to be an ignorant douchebag about it. I would love to see you try to "go in a circle" dickhead.

  • @anthcybo Have you driven on either a circle jerk track or a real track with, you know, turns in more than one direction? are we arguing about pit stops or racing? flame wars on the intertubes are fun! yes, there is some technical degree of difficulty in nascar, you must maintain momentum, blah blah blah. try doing all of that on a road course with cars that have totally different performance characteristics which you have to worry about, oh yea, and you are a fucknozzel

  • @srxkevin

I've driven in a stock car in an oval circuit, yes. And F1 cars are so fucking awesome it's not hard for them to turn, they're supposed to turn. I hate when people always pull out the argument "Americas are stupid because they watch indy instead of F1".. we went to the moon, do you really think we couldn't build a F1 car?

  • @anthcybo look at the basics, a formula one team has to make a formula one car from the ground up except for gear box and engine, nascar or STOCKCAR is straight pussy shit compared to formula one, and honestly an insult to auto racing around the world... i think world champion kart races have more skill then a fucking nascar driver will ever have.

  • @srxkevin

i used to think the same thing when i was 12. thats not the case though -_- and im not american either, so dont call me redneck and all that crap. ive only ever watched 2 nascar races in my life and i watched for about 2 mins and got bored, but i can guarantee you right now that there is just as much skill in nascar as there is in WRC. may not look it, but trust me, there is.

  • ........................... They are 21 person to change 4 tires and put gas and the car! They do nothing athletic in their pit-stop!

In NASCAR, they are 7 person around the car to do the same job, yes they do it in more time, but at least they run around the car! And it's so much more attractive, physical and precise than that.

  • The stops are much faster now that there is no re-fueling

  • Amazing... all perfectly coordinate. Nothing can compare to an f1 race.

  • pit stops a lot better now

  • I watched many times, great moment and team spirit in the race.

  • OMG! I'm a NASCAR guy so I don't know all of what just happened but I saw some tires put on and I saw dudes with poles and hoses poke around for like 7 seconds. Aftrer that the car left and I have no idea what happened. F1 rocks. Really got into watching it when my Dad was stationed in Germany. Where did the fuel go? And I assume it is some type of pressurized feeder to get fuel in there before the car has to leave.

  • @westsyde1061 If u watch again, there are 2 long silver hoses.. .they're the fuel hoses, the left side is the main fueler, the right is spare. so from our view the fuel got pumped into the car directly centre

  • @Suprahampton aha! Thanks for the explanations. I watch F1 and Indy races but televison doesn't go into pit stops the way this vid does. Excellent way to show the motorsport

  • @westsyde1061 The irony is... as F1 pitstops go.. that was slow. Fastest pit stop I've seen was Ferrari, fuel & tyres 5.2seconds. (it's counted from the car stopping in the box)

  • i like the way the rear right tyre guys have two jobs..

  • What happened?... A moment ago a car came in, now it's gone...

  • could they do service for me?

  • can they do my MOT and service!!

  • @skinnyslug2 In 0:15

    hehehe

  • damn i have replay this like 15 times to catch all of them doing it. lol

  • I blinked and missed the whole thing.

  • now that's a pit crew!

  • yea formulaone is better than nascar!!!

  • 6 fucking seconds!

    SIX!!!

  • I read in the comments people talking about NASCAR, well don't waste my time with this kind of SH|T.

If Michael "The Full Package" Schumacher isn't in a racing series, then it is worthless.

Plus too many NASCAR drivers are fat and don't have good abs and arse.

  • now lets see gay nascar top this

  • NASCAR has a rule for limited amount of pit crew members and the lug nuts on NASCAR are 5 individual lug nuts. This is what increases the time for NASCAR pit stops. F1 on the other hand has a many more people on a pit crew and the lug nut for F1 is basically one big ring that's it. So there's only one piece to change the tires. This is why F1 pit crews are so fast.

  • @mrPek96 lets see 6 f1 guys do it as quick as this

  • one big mechanism, stunning teamwork

  • is that real or ina game

  • Hi retard, this is real. Now show me a game that looks anything like the video above and i'll give you two rim-jobs for the price of one.

  • @D4mo84 Rude Fuckhead! Learn to respect other People Dumbass!!!

  • What is that thing at the bottom left. The stick thing he puts into the back of the car before it takes off?

  • I think it is the starter, in case the driver stalls so they can restart the car. It looks kind of like a weed-whacker right?

  • @JarfJam It's a starter, keeps engine running when ready to leave...part of sensor thing that start engine fastest way.

  • 21 people, all engineers probably.

  • I love Formula 1 but its hard for me to appreciate their hard work when they make it look so slick. I mean look at the NASCAR pit stops.... man! you really see them go to work!!!! Every man hustlin' to get the job done. THAT I can really say, "Yep, these guys are no joke!"

  • This pit stop is alot tougher, literarally a 0.5 second mistake could lose the race.

As proven in Belgian Spa last weekend.

Kimi and Fisichella pitted at the same time, both pits took excactly 7.1sec. If even one of those guys screwed up Fisischella could've won.

  • o shit i didnt even notice them change the tires!i had to watch it twice

  • man, that's amazing how fast and precise that all is.

  • ya but like 18 people, still amazing though

  • thats beyond incredible!!!!!!

  • 6 fucking seconds, amazing
