I always hear him saying "on the Western front" whilst he IS saying "on the Eastern front" and have always found it peculiar that the designers of the game didn't redo the tape :)

You're right. Warsaw is in Poland, on the Eastern front (which is obviously where the Russians were fighting.

nope, it IS Western, Germany and all those lands are part of Western-Europe.

@Fallschirmjaeger963 The western front was west, the eastern front is east. On the western front the allied forces fought the axis powers. On the Eastern front it was the soviets.

Its obvious that the voice-over is wrong, because after the "western front" he says "meanwhile in western europe".

Also germany and poland is central europe.

@GR3c0rds Coz it was Western Front for Russians, They pushed westwards. For Allies since D-Day it became Eastern front (e specially when they freed west of France ).
