i just cannot believe some of the idiotic, retarded comments here. there sure are a lot of morons on youtube. nowhere is this video labeled as showing a WOLF. it clearly says wolfdog (which is a dog/wolf hybrid) and a heeler. and besides, dogs ARE the domesticated first cousins of wolves. they are, essentially, the same thing. some people here really need remedial reading classes.

It's a very cute vid. But that behavior is play behavior, and the larger of the two animals is most definitely a dog. Looks and appearances in canines is very deceiving, appearances based on genetics is very, very plastic. It may not even be some of the breeds it *looks* to contain. Based on behavior though, it is definitely not a wolf. Mislabeling animals like this, even in jest contributes to a lot of mis-information surrounding wolves.

And not all Malamutes are show quality either. I have seen many a mal/husky cross (sometimes with GSD) and a few poorly bred pure breds look very similar to this animal. Unfortunately, poorly bred, off-standard animals seem to be a trend in the USA. As a side note- whether it is a mal, husky or a cross of both- this animals probably has little to no wolf in him at all.

This may be a very low percentage wolf hybrid if he has any wolf in him at all. He doesn't really look like a true wolf, his ears are too large, chest too broad etc. Wolves have extremely narrow chests and smaller ears etc. Looks more like husky malamute mix.

Chloe is a jack russell and cattle dog or blue heeler, and Kiba is a wolfdog, he's also got husky and malamute and german shep in him. Chloe I got at 3 yrs old so a lot of her things like the barking, I am working on getting her to stop, Kiba I've had since 3 months old so he's pretty well behaved.
