  • How do you make the filmstrip continually scroll across the screen?

  • @happyfeetcrazy2 Thank you!

  • Its called a film strip not a flim strip

  • Stunning.

  • Hey Kodi,

Just found your excellent ( albeit very fast ) Sony Vegas Pro tutorial.

Gives amateurs like me using SV Movie Studio a better idea how to use

the more "advanced features". I'm hoping I can do some of this with Movie Studio 9 and gotta review this carefully.

Very good tutorial and shows you excellent talents !

Gonna try to do the film strip image with Paint.Net ( free )

    Congrats, LA Guy

  • thank you so much this was exactly what i was looking for (:

  • i love you ur awesome i did it the hard way at first ie masking eckk thnkyou for this solution.

  • You have a American accent. <3

  • @Music96Girl You think so? X3 Thanks.

  • Very good!

  • I thought you lived in America, but when I saw your channel's info, it said you live in Malaysia. :O

  • @TigerzRlz I have been in Malaysia almost my whole life. :) Perhaps I've used a little America accent in here. ;)

  • it was a big help but i couldnt stop laughing whenever he said film strip. XD sounded like flim strip XD

  • i am really enjoying your accent :)

  • that was awesome

I didn't know how to use 3D on Vegas yet and I was always curious about how people did film strips :)

  • When I try to find the3D Source Alpha, all I have show up is Source Alpha and Multiply (Mask)...

Hey! How do I get clips? Cause I have NO idea how I can get vids. I'm stuck with suckish pics.

    ted: I AM AWSOME!

Me: STOP TALKING! anyways..Can you put up a video HOW to get clips and how to use Photoshop? I have PS but I can't seem to know HOW to use it.

  • @MsPerryRocks I'm sorry for the incredibly late reply xD but I'm sure you already have some of the answers. ;)

  • @AlphaWolfKodi I'm so embarrased by that old comment *goes red* XD

  • @MsPerryRocks Does that mean you have PS waaay back then? I like totally ignored you. ='(

  • @AlphaWolfKodi Haha, yeah. But I was using my parents computer before I got the laptop. So my Photoshop is on the computer my parents have, not my PC XD

  • @AlphaWolfKodi Then again...I used to think that you could edit videos with Photoshop 0_o

  • that sounds easy i jus wus wondering how to upload vids from sony vegas 2 youtube?

  • @FunkyMunky280 First, render your video. If you don't know how to do that, go up to the "File" tab and click on "Render As". Once you've rendered it, then go to YouTube and click on upload. Then click on browse and go to where ever you saved the video and click on it. Then press "open" and it'll upload! 8D

  • Omg.... I have never seen anything so advanced in my life!! xDxD jk, but still. I was looking at Sony Vegas Pro for the first time a couple of days ago, and OMG was it soooooo much differnt then what I expected!! I don't understand how some people can make awesome videos with this in like 3-4 hours! You people really have skill :3 I think I'll stick with WMM for now though xD

  • @duckling1800 I know it's hard to go from WMM for sony vegas, but when you are finished with the basics then it awesoem to work with sony vegas, and there are no limitations on what you can do. :-D

  • @selinator28 Yeah, I know it must take time to get used to, but still, that's very advanced stuff :3

  • @duckling1800 i know :p

  • @duckling1800 Oh no, I don't just take 3-4 hours! I also want to know how some people can make awesome videos within that amount of time. lol

  • @AlphaWolfKodi It actually takes more than 3-4 hours. You need a minimum of 8 and a mximum of 10 hours. BTW Thanks for the tutorial.

  • awesome! :DD

  • Awesome effects,

But Do I REALLY have to Pay online to get a Sony Vegas?

Paying online is the only thing I can't do in this world

    ( Yep! That's right, I can fly)

  • Why dont you do a channel to tell people how you do some effects they tell you to teach them? :D

  • Thanks! Can't wait to try it out sometime!

  • thanks for the tutorial Kodi, I have a question, do you think you could make a getting started tutorial for After Effects, I recently got the program and it's confusing as heck, the only thing I know what to do is change the video size and import the footage xD

  • @jpeniera search for "video copilot" on google, they have a good set of getting started video as well as some technical one but they are pretty cool and sick. They do try to sell their special effects dvd but they don't have like ads popping up everytime you click something

  • awesome tutoriol I'm surely gonna try this!

  • :D This is awsome!

  • how do u make pawprints?

  • Comment removed

  • @moonthewolf101 in photoshop, create a new canvas with transparent background. Draw or create a simple paw print using "Custome Shape Tool", it contains a very basic pawprint shape. Make sure the design is in black. Once you're happy with the design, go to Edit > Define Brush Preset. A new window should open, displaying the default size of the brush. Name the brush and press "Ok"

  • @moonthewolf101 ~continue~

To save the brush for later uses. Select the "Brush Tool" and right click on the canvas, click the tiny triangle arrow to show a liste of options. Select "Preset Manager". In this new window, Select the brush you have just defined and press "Save Set...". To select multiple brush that are seperated hold down the Ctrl key and click to make selection.

Now you'll be able to load this set of brush for future uses.
