I was trying to put on a pair of Continental Ultra Gatorskins in preparation for long rides in rural New York, and I guess I was fortunate to never have a flat before, but I needed some guidance on how to actually change a road bike tire. This video was absolutely amazing. I ended up using it to help me mount both tires. :) You know your stuff. A lot more description than other videos. Thanks so much!
On every clincher tire there are 2 beads. These are the cords on each edge of the tire. If you imagine the clincher tire is a U shape, a bead is on each end of the U. The bead is held or "clinched" by the lip of the wheel.
