  • whoever tat says this girl is hot are blind bastards

  • Mmmmm deeeeeep frieeeed beeeees. :-P

  • I want her to Lavie me long time!

  • Girl = hot

  • 'obsessed with it'

    OMG STOP.

taiwan has the highest quality of tea in asia, how can having lots of tea be an obsession.

    ugh this stupid commentary.

  • what's wrong with these camera guys, they never shoot close ups of all the girls who are cute or pretty, they only do that to the old ladies and the ugly ones. I notice Anthony Bourdain's camera man doing the same thing too. This guy doesn't shoot a close up of this cute girl at all, but he shot so many close up shots of the next lady coming up. Lame azzz.

  • It's wonderful to see some tea tasting for once in this show. I love tea myself, so it is great to see the tea being brewed and tasted in it's original environment. :)

  • so what do you think people did he make a move on the girl?

  • 文化交流阿!!! lol so good...is so cool lol!!!

  • Asia is the BEST... India, China, Taiwan, Singapore, etc...... i cannot wait until i get to travel on my own! :D

  • to be crude and really blunt...that girl is severely fuckable!

  • she's sexy

  • 1:26 awkward

  • Taiwanese is ethnicity ==

  • A LOT of Korean and Japanese food are actually either directly inspired or modified versions of original Chinese food.

  • @devilhunterred What an arrogant thing to say. Tired of such Sinocentric brainfarts to suggest everything originates from one place. Civilization influences each other but it also develops in its own way. Food culture originates and evolves very specific to the climate, culture and people. Japanese and Korean food are distinctly different from Chinese and vice verse.

  • @iluvinsung90 Korean and Japanese food SUCK!

  • @willhunting1995 you wrong fucker!indian food is the worst

  • @chaichai2580 Indian food makes me vomit!

  • @willhunting1995 really ?! where r u from ?! i think indian people eat very selected food , very spicy mostly but not at all gross

  • @willhunting1995

your worthless channel makes me vomit.

  • @willhunting1995 your mother sucks :)

  • i bet this guy shits bricks.....he doesn't even chew his food

  • look, smell, taste. wow, that's a good reminder. gotta really treasure these moments

  • Bad translation, Pinglin = peaceful forest, although ping can also mean "flat" or "level"

  • OMG I'VE BEEN TO THAT TEA RESTAURANT :)

  • Actually Andrew cant stomach the Durian fruit. He hates it. But he has tried so many forms of it, that still he cant eat it.

  • I don't watch much TV but I do dig this show.

  • damn that girl is super hot!!!

  • @SHADOWS113 I agree. I wonder if she does anal. :-)

  • Andrew could not eat the stinky tofu, i reckon that tofu gotta be really really stink because this guy can eat anything except human! haha

  • The only thing Andrew hasnt eaten is Human. I wonder what we taste like? lol

  • out of all the things i've seen him eat and drink, he found morocho disgusting !

  • rofl idiot

  • Sorry, i got it from the news.

  • According to someone that I ahve spoken to it is served in certain parts of the world and it is called "long pig" The meat is VERY sweet and a delicasy... I hate knowing some of the stuff I do...

  • yummy..

  • Maybe he's a closet cannibal testing the waters before he goes completely Hannibal Lecter.

  • I love tea, I barely have any food in my fridge, some chickpeas and lentils in my pantry and half a shelf in the pantry dedicated to tea. I want to go there

  • me 2! my whole pantry is filled with tea..Its so good though!

  • Nice ta MEAT yah!! haha!! id take a bite outa that!!!

  • I'm Taiwanese and I don't drink tea! LOL every time I go to a restaurant be it in Taiwan or America, they always have tea. Most of the time I'd just go for some water or even a glass of soda.

  • me too not Tea drinke You Taiwannese American? I just get lemon ice tea in Taiwan.

  • she has the same last name as janet hsieh, is she related? or is Hsieh a common name in taiwan?

  • It's a pretty common name in Taiwan. Some Taiwanese last names include Chen, Wang, Lai, Lin, Huang, Liu, Zhou, and even Wu

  • TW is a fantastic place :D

  • ill slurp her tea

  • that asian is veryy veryy cutee n soo soft spoken tooo veryy sexyy

  • tea isnt that bizzare..

  • @ChowZeb i guess he was surprised how strong drying tea leaves is.

  • @ChowZeb Hahaha

  • @ChowZeb You are right that Tea isn't bizarre, but it is what they did here with them that makes it bizarre. I have never tried or seen tea eating dishes before myself and I came from HK.

  • great episode!

  • that girl is hot

  • I confirm it is not illegal otherwise, it won't be sold all around market in South East Asia. The thing is that it stinks like, well, hell and so it is banned in many public places like hotel rooms, movie theater etc...

  • SMOKE TEA, PEOPLE

  • i hate these kind of shows, cuz the food i see makes me drool all the time

  • wow all that food made from tea looks really good and healthy!

  • haha mr wang

  • Yanno, it's really irritating to hear that "No wonder with all the weird food he eats he isn't dead." People wouldn't eat it if it would kill them. Let's all be mature and smart for once okay? Thanks.

  • the hei wang Restaurant looks good

id like to try some of the Tea made foods.

    茶 = Tea

  • Andrew is very successful not only with the presentation of the food but also finding hot chicks like this one :)

  • what if he encounters a food that to his opinion really is distasteful, what will he do?

  • didn't you watch episode 1 with the stinky tofu

  • From other episodes that I've watch, he tells it like it is. But he will try anyway.

  • There was the episode where he tried to eat Durian (which is, in some places, an illegal fruit that is grown in Asia) where he said, in his opinion, it tasted awful. But I've seen people say that, despite the horrific smell (because it's said to smell like "Rotted carrion or dung"), it tastes like banana-nut custard. I guess it really all comes down to opinion, and Andrew Zimmern's views are merely that - his opinion.

  • First of all, the place where he ate the durain is Malaysia. The durain fruit that he ate is not illegal. You can get a durain at from $1 USD to $5 USD anywhere and everywhere at southeast asia. Just for your information. =)

  • Oh really? I thought it was banned in most countries in southeast Asia? I'm sorry, my mistake. I'm actually quite curious as to try Durian. Smell aside, its intriguing that there is such a wide difference in opinion about it. From tasting like "dung" to "raspberry walnut custard", its odd that a fruit would ever taste anything like what's been said about it. At least, it looks alot safer to eat than alot of the stuff Andrew Zimmern has tried. (I could never eat beating snake heart, for example)

  • well, it doesn't taste like dung but it definitly doesn't taste very good to me, it's somethin that you like the first you eat it, but it's mostly something that you have to keep eating to like

  • The pasta cooked in the tea oil looks so delicious. I'm not normally fond of Asian cuisine, but these tea based dishes look divine! I'd love to go to this place for my honeymoon

  • Thats Awesome!

  • Unseenshadow81 you are a nasty, perverted,side-show freak! How dare you insult women like that. You have absolutely no class, and you deserve to be classified as a freakin' sexual predator you asshole!

  • He's getting fatter each episode.

  • lol

  • No wonder with all the weird foods that he downs. It's not wonder he hasn't had a heart attack yet. However, he's shows makes one very hungry when you watch it.

  • yes he is

  • love this shoe too lol i have ate some of that but to me durian friut taste like beef liver and pineapple combined with a horrible smell taste like heaven smells like hell they all say lol, but the people are wonderful something u can never find here america

  • I love this show!!!!

  • I love this show! Go Taiwan!

  • It's a show I recorded from Travel Channel, and the show's name is "Bizarre foods with Andrew Zimmern:TAIWAN". 'If you want to see the show again on TV, you can check out TravelChannel

  • I'm shocked that a Govt agency in Taiwan actually employs someone with serviceable English!!!

  • She may be from Pinglin Tea Museum. Because Pinglin is famous for tea to travelers(foreigners), a tea guide with English speaking skill is quite important.

  • Thanks for providing the information.

  • it's important for viewers to know that this area grows low-altitude tea only. none of this low altitute tea is consumed locally but rather all low altitude tea is exported. in Taiwan we only drink high mountain tea. that distinction was not made in the video. the tea that Andrew enjoyed was not from Pinglin.
