@RagingBubuli See below for IR light, this was my first test of high ISO only, not its flash abilities. I'm just starting to use flash, just purchased SB 400 for quick fill in lights shots. Please see my other video for photo samples. I do mostly large apertures, no flash shots around NYC with my Nikon, hence NYKON avatar. Thank you for viewing and comment.
@CalebeMendes I presume so, i'm a novice with few pro lens, there are specialty cameras made for IR light source and it all depends on your budget. I do not have access to IR light but I will do more night vision test soon. Nikon D5100 does have high ISO for such a low priced camera and you need a fast lens like f/1.4 or lower number.
Does the lens have good manual focus?

@AngryOrso yes, also nikon 50mm 1.4G has bigger grip for manual focus.

These cameras all have a filter inside to block IR light. Need to get that removed by a specialist if you want to use for IR work seriously.

Hi friend, I am a student of Biology and i am trying know what equipaments can I use in my work...
Please, some cameras have a low sensibility to IR light, If you use a IR light and use the ISO 102400, it will work better than with no IR light?
Can you make a video testing it?
