  • Does it help to run a vm on games that have trouble running with wine?

  • Superb video, Love it

  • can u like play COD online with WineHQ?

  • Always with the stupid Rap music instead of an explanation

  • @spindlegrinder WineHQ....lazy ass.

  • @Saieno86 Sorry, but I concur with spindlegrinder, I'd rather someone talk through the video than listen to rap music that has no relevance to the video.

  • so I've been trying to get City of Heroes working on my Ubuntu for awhile. so far no luck. any suggestions?

  • anyone know how to install Dead Space on a linux box? (brand new to linux awesomeness)

  • just pointing out you dont need wine to play savage2, its available for linux :p

  • @Kingslay3r That's correct, and is also why it wasn't run in WINE.

  • Great video. Play in Archlinux though, much better ^.^

  • Just play Midtown Madness in linux.

  • i am trying to play knight online on ubuntu ultimate edition 2.7 and i also try to add a bot called KOAB.

Till today haven't managed to do it. If you got time pls make a vid with knight online on linux using this bot KOAB.

    TY

  • World of kung fu

  • steamworks - with cs 1.6 and ragnarok online works using ragray client , also no$gba, nulldc,project64 and mupen plus emualtors

  • 1:16 nice mp3

  • great video

  • Thank you so much ive been wondering if games like that played on linux

  • You can only play extremely popular and supported games, new game come out on steam? suck it cause you got to wait. And most games you have to download aand install and set up and profile, and all this bullshit. Not worth your time.

  • Install TES: 4 Oblivion

  • yes me too

  • I've installed Nostale, and It works but I can't move the character :(

For some reason the mouse works everywhere except in the world of Nostale so I can't play.

Do you know how to fix it?

  • i dint just wanna see it work in linux, i want to know how i can make it work??

  • @xxCammi Check the Perfect World International on Linux video.

  • @xxCammi Go to appdb . winehq . org and in the search box, type the name of the game you're looking for. Find the game, then check any HOWTOs.

  • when linux gets better at gaming im going to use it

  • you have city of heroes oh man youre so lucky

  • do you have like a billion gigs?HOW DO YOU RUN ALL THESE GAMES!!!!

  • how can u play windows gamez on linux then?

  • Sure you can play windows games on linux, but if you wanna go fullscreen the mouse is locked on the invisible box.

  • so how do i do this, i really wanna try linux out

  • @tetankemint You probably want ubuntu 10.4 and what I did was download and install "WINE" and then get "playonlinux" theres plenty of guides just do a little bit of searchin

  • i want to see FlyFF and CS: 1.6 also i have question:

,,Could You make video about configuring WINE?''

    I cant run it:/

i mean i try to play something. it loads game or program then nothing...

  • you cant play FlyFF or any other game that uses a shitty hack protection program like GameGuard or hackshield as those tend to HATE linux no matter what

  • Awesome ......

  • LINUX RULEZ!!!! try need for speed underground, i had problems with it :)

  • are u using linux mint?

  • If only game devs turned back to OpenGL there would be more games meant to support Linux.

  • Saieno just said everything i was going to reply to rasiakwood..

  • do fallout 3

  • Of course you can play on linux - the question is why? To use Wine legally you need to own Windows License and then i see no reason to use linux for gaming. ATI and Intel drivers are useless. Only NV make good drivers (but they rewrite half of Xorg).

Also Wine is unstable, with every version they fix something only to break something else.

Gaming on linux sucks - and you cant argue with this.

  • To use WINE legally? There's nothing illegal about WINE. Yes you need a license for one or two optional additions, but you don't need them. ATI drivers are fine, never had a problem with Intel drivers, and Nvidia makes great drivers (regardless if they re-write majority of Xorg, it's a GUI configuration file, thus it's supposed to). WINE is unstable if you use an unstable version, that's why they have experimental versions for those that want to use it. Gaming in Linux is great, and free.

  • @Saieno86 +1: Can't beat Linux... Neva!

  • @rasiakwood it's true. i'm running Linux but I dual boot with windows for gaming. but believe me, if gaming was supported widely on Linux i would take my windows cd out the back and burn it, then i would burn another 100 bucks just for a sense of irony.

  • Guys, type Wine wiki on google and do a little search. You will find a wiki that has hundreds of games and applications and how well they work under wine

  • Is there a way to play games full screen using wine? I know every time I try to full screen starcraft, the video resolution looks all fucked up.

  • wow amazing

  • what about Killing Floor?

  • Do you play Vanguard on Linux?

  • Definitly great video. Do want to know though. Is everything off Wine and what graphics card are you using? And would you mind telling me if Aion is availible to work.

  • Most is off wine, some is Native. Using a 7900GTX Video Card, and AION doesn't work.

  • could you do one for lineage 2?

  • Whit which program did you play it , wine hq , or something else?

  • Diablo And Diablo 2 plz

  • Can the game World of Kung fu run on linux?

  • What's the last song of the video called ?

  • Millencolin - No Cigar

  • thx mate =)

  • great video

do you think it's possible getting assassin's creed running

  • When you were playing Counter-Strike, was that with other Linux users, or with people on Windows? Same thing with TF2.

  • On Counter-Strike I just played a quick Bot match, TF2 played on a server with anyone who could run the game (Windows, Mac, Linux), it doesn't discriminate just because I'm on Linux.

  • I am curious as to why you run savage 2 in wine over using the native Linux version.

  • No I ran Savage 2 naively, just it's a good game and I thought I'd include it. Sorry for the confusion.

  • Ok cool, that makes sense.

  • Entropia universe on linux pls . Fix a tutorial if y got it to work ;) Nice vid !

  • if anyone was curious, he followed my Perfect World in Linux video and got Entropia Universe working.

  • Well . It was grafic bugs , But can u give it a try =? I been a linux user for 2 weeks soon , and its hard for me to install diffrent games . Only u had maked a guide which was easy to follow. Pls , make more ;) / Greetings and THANKS from Sweden !
