This is actually a really helpful video. It made me laugh how you can hear the baby in the background jabbering and talking baby talk :P it was so cute!
I'm 27, I was born with RSS and I've had a great life. No major health problems or side effects the entire time. Although I'm not as tall as I would like to be, I am proud to say that life doesn't have to change if you have this.
Thanks so much for posting this! Your daughter and mine could practically be twins!! I have made arrangements to have my daughter tested for RSS. After 7 long years of searching for an answer, we may finally be at the end of frustration.
I'm an rss adult in the uk and have set up a facebook group for rss teens and adults, called TARSS, find us on facebook groups, with hardly any info about rss after childhood it is great to meet and share with fellow rss people
It took my parents thirty months. The doctor was to late in giving me growth hormone so i'm stuck at 5 feet. I'm almost 20 but look like i'm 12 or 14.
@Brendan1234ism i do not have this syndrome but i do have my own difficulties, I know this is hard and i havn't even gotten there my self yet but you have to except who you are and be proud of yourself of going through crap that no one else has gone through.
Thank you so much for posting this! Two beautiful girls :-)
I'm from Norway, and I have a 4 year old girl with Russell-Silver syndrome, just recently diagnosed. She ( and her twin sister ) were born 11 weeks premature, and she has always been so much smaller. Food has been a very difficult subject, and still is.
There is no organisations or groups for RSS here in Norway, so thumbs up for Youtube;-)
oh yeah I have russel-silver syndrom. I hate having acid-reflux with it. I am in 7th grade so like everyone else is getting taller than me now. Do it is more noticeable and when I was a baby my forehead was gigantic. Luckily it doesn't affect the brain. I am super-smart!
