I just have to reply to this so you all can be insanely jealous! I saw Adam live on the Vive Le Rock tour in Dallas in 1985. I was 25 at the time, so I remember it well. It was a small venue and was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, even up to now! Love all the wonderful comments about Adam here. Thanks to everyone.

Yes it was Shephard's famous star guitar. Apparently Marco spotted it in the studio and wanted to buy it from Gerry.  Gerry didn't want to part with it but allowed him to borrow it for this song.
