I was in a band for over ten years named Green Apple Quickstep. We played our first gig circa 1983. We were based in Upstate New York. never thought anyone else would come up with the same name. For those of you who aren't aware, green apple quickstep is a synonym for the Hershey squirts.
@thezuu42 I just spent an entire weekend on a houseboat with Marianne.. getting stoned and drinking beers all night. It was a pretty damn good time. Her guy even bbq'd some rattlesnake for us. Be jealous... she rocks
When I saw these guys in Vegas...they opened for the band "X" ...and durring John and Exenes's set....the hot lead guitarist from Quick Step came out at the end of one of their songs completely NAKED and walked across the stage to everyone's delight!..Then after the show I was talking to John and Exene and the same guy walks up to me and hands me a copy of their new cd...I should have jumped his bones but I didnt want to be rude to X...in the middle of a conversation!
