@1MagicAndMayhem1 my experience in asia is that nobody even knows where scotland is, never mind hating scottish people. scots are generally very respectful to people from different countries, unlike the english. i get tourists telling me all the time that they visit england before coming up to scotland and that the scots are much more open, honest and up for a laugh than the english. not to mention scotland being much more pretty to look at.

See this is my opinion as well. I don't have a problem with people thinking or feeling tehemselves as British. It's just that the only thing I associate myself with is Scotland. I compare it to people who are gay and society tells them "No, you're not" but only we know who we truely are and if someone's gay then society won't tell them otherwise. My passport might dictate that I'm "British" but I'm not. I'm Scottish. I'm not something I don't feel I am and no one will dictate to me otherwise.
