He was a very popular singer in Italy at end of the '50s, famous for making a joke of the american gangsters of his time by his songs of the "criminal" genre. He died by a car accident in his pink Cadillac on February 3, 1960 in Rome.By a strange coincidence one year before died by a plane crash Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and Big Bopper.
