Alright, the character drawings weren't horrible, really good for an individual back in 2008, nice, what really killed it for me (it wasn't the voices all though it really wasn't pleasant because there was a shadowy effect and then the music...), it was the backgrounds (the buildings, sure, but the clouds were really bad and it would have been better if you drew a sunset instead or something). Nice job though

I don't mean I don't like story, I do, but not when it's cliched and done to death. Ninja Scroll is a fantastic film that has the perfect balance of action and story.

this has great composition and dialogue and the lighting is gorgeous, but I have to say that the animation is lacking. It is nice to see someone who is interested in 2d animation, but you must learn the basics before you jump to stuff like this. I would suggest you read "the animator's survival kit" by richard williams and just do some simple animation exercises, see if you can keep your audience interested with only a pencil test. This will help you become a really good animator.
