  • FINGER ROLLLLLLL

  • Steve all thee waayy!!!

  • anyone els think that was a carry

  • @MrMaggotforlife13

It's not a carry, at least it's not supposed to be. If you watch the video again there's like three or four separate takes and they tried to make it look like the same one move. Whoever recorded and edited this did a really poor job.

  • @bordertown yeah from what it looks like it seems like he carried

  • 0:29 the guy on the right: "I BELIEVE I CAN FLY...I BELIEVE I CAN TOUCH THE SKY" :D

  • there should be refs in this

  • its called an AROUND THE BACK and its not very signature, its common

  • man steve nash creates magic with that ball too bad he is getting old because he sets the gold standard for wat a point guard should be! even at his old age he is still schools cats from all stars to average players alike.

  • alguien me puede decir y explicar, si este man no camino?

can someone explain me if this guy did not walk, i mean i see more than two steps with no dribbling

  • from signature 1 its look like he travel look at his footing at 00:17 seconds to 00:19 seconds its a travel...BUT!!! don't hate, look at his 2nd signature which is the exact same it appears and through full motion it is not a travel. Boy did he mind fuck us all

  • true beauty of finger role

  • 2nd guy came out of no where...

  • Im not hating or anything but is that a travel? because some say he did 2 steps but some say he did 3 Answer me please

  • @sxchighflyer i definatly think this was a travel, sorry for the bad english ;) it really looked like he was taking three steps, if you analyzis it a bit :)

  • @sxchighflyer this is one where youre going to get multiple answers ive argued with retard on youtube about this before...on a live dribble the picking up of the ball and a step is not considered a "gathered step" of which you only get two...the elite players, like nash, use this to there advantage and create moves utilizing it

  • @mandypants02 so no travel

  • can he dunk?

  • @location1992 nope. i dont think hes ever bothered to work on vertical either. kinda late now hes what 36?

  • three steps, travel

  • The defender is so fake

  • i met nash 2 days ago at work!

  • lebron traveled

  • Nash should sign with L.A.

  • step 2 brk othr players ankls. step 3 be steve nash. im still on step 1. learn to spell

  • thumbs up if you think steve nash is better than rondo

  • @MrSkillz2nice I don't think Nash is better than Rondo... I KNOW he is.

  • hes a god

  • @j3venmusic He would be if he was a better defender

  • the editing of the video probably went back a bit, he was moving his right foot, then suddenly he was moving his left foot, there are probably two videos they had to edit together

  • wow.. a behind the back is his sig move :P...how beastly XD

  • was that 3 steps?

  • Shit first i thought : Wow maybe Nash will dunk it. then i thought : Is it me or it looks like hes gonna miss the layup. And at last: Wait so what he did cause i dont remember....REPLAY

  • Steve Nash has way flashier moves that he does every game, which is why he is one of the best offensive point guards ever.

  • he might as well dunk that bitch lol he gone be cold in nba 2k12

  • 19 people thought that Nash is going to dunk and then they thought he is going to miss the layup .....ZING!

  • 19 people got crossed by nash!!!!

  • One of the GREATS at work!!!!

  • he cant dunk

  • Am I the only one that thought this was a dunk?

  • I use that move all the time

  • @supninjas me too

  • Steve Nash Is Kick Ass!

  • for a second i thought steve nash was gonna dunk

  • 0:27 - face in right :)

  • when the vid starts to go slow-mo, I started going woooooooooooooooooooow.

  • I thought his signature move would be a no-look pass....

  • I thought he was going to dunk

  • it made him look like he was gonna dunk it

  • HOLY crap the next Jordan??? he was in the air for 12 seconds!!!!

  • He traveled... 3.5 steps... only in the NBA I guess... But Steve Nash is still one of the best point guards ever.

  • for a second I thought he was going to dunk it

  • @samxyx haha, he could have easily dunked it, but i guess he faked you out too :P that is why, hes one of the best PGs in the league.

  • @samxyx ...until you realized that it is Steve Nash.

  • @samxyx If this were about 8 to 10 years earlier and we were looking at "Nashty" Nash from the days of Dirk and Nash then there's no question that would have been a dunk, possibly on someone!

  • give him 3 more inches and that would of been a dunk lol i tried this and i broke my own ankles hahaha i just slipped

  • That finger roll was a thing of beauty!

  • I am not of usa nor Canada but that in my district is Traveling man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • white men cant jump

  • @tylopeng He's 6'3 and can't touch the net, lol. Chris Paul is better too, he PLAYS DEFENSE.

  • @youngstunna79 hes not 6'3" he is 5'9"

  • Signature 1 and two is pretty much the same lol the only he use left hand in 1 and right to 2 lol

  • IF ONLY GETTIN BY DEFENDERS WAS THIS EASY SMH..

  • nice calves...

  • At 0:21, Michael Jordan Slam!

    Nah just a layup

  • dunk the ball Steve ! come on now !!!!!

  • Guys guys...if you think its a travel because you see 3 steps listen closely. You have the gather step...then after that you are give 2 steps. Thats how it is in the US

  • For a guy that was going to be a soccer player. I'd say he made the right career change.

  • im 5' 11 i wonder if i can make it into the NBA

  • @sweether241 Nate Robinson is 5'9. So stop wondering, just make it !

  • Is this a travel ?

  • @DeadNerve47 Looks like it but could just be how its cut

  • Steve is about to dunk at 0:21

  • Steve Nash is my NBA idol and god at point guard!!!

  • @khmerboy09 god??? really???

  • video is too edited. he takes hit first step with his left foot a little after the freethrow line, then at the next cut, it shows his right foot as his first step after the free throw line.

  • Travel

  • not gonna lie...i miss old steve nash

  • I liked how they fast-forwarded through the travel haha.

  • @TKDCats312 What are you talking about he took two steps for a lay-up.

  • @ripwalter34 Think about it. He went between the legs with his left leg in front. Right, left, right, layup. I hate videos like this. They always pull something like that. (No dissing Nash, he's one of my favorite players)

  • @TKDCats312 Ah true I see it now.

  • ah! so close to dunking, its k he makes layup seem better than dunks

  • dat ish goes hard!! lol dam dat crossover is rediculous in game speed

  • beat is hard as fuck! and yes a behind the back crossover isn't easy, especially in game speed.

  • i wanted him to dunk. i never seen him do it

  • I thought he qas gonna dunk!!!

  • I thought he would dunk haha

  • I thought that he wase trying to dunk LOL

  • is the black guy rajon rondo? looks like it

  • damn slow motion makes it so much cooler

  • FINGA ROLL !!!!!

  • That was a tight lay up right there!!!!

  • kimkj209 that's why I watch NBA perhaps even with its problems. I'm using this training course that's used even by NBA players - (50 inch vertical [dot] com) - I already jump few ins higher and being more impactful on the court!

  • @MrAtrain556 i think magics got that title breh, nash aint far behind

  • who made this video ROCOOOOCOCOOCOCOCOCKSSS omg omg omg

  • Is that Josh Masters on help D??

  • that wasnt a travel.. and yes,, they are already lanned, they just want people to see the signiture move of steve nash.. if you were the one whos gouuarding steve nash,, you think you can just easily guard him? eve other NBA cant stop nash in man to man defense..

  • they didn't really need to milk this thing...

  • goddamn that looks smooth....

  • hes so good

  • looks like a clear palming to me..

  • yes he did travel but did anyone think that they dont normally call travel in the nba? if youre a normal person doing the move be smart and take an extra dribble soyou dont travel

  • and the commentator will say nice finger roll by steve nash

  • lol heard some ankles poping and Steve can't dunk

He have a layup move he call it the OLD WHITE GUY CAN"T JUMP MOVE

  • Isn't that a travel? cause i did it like 20 times and i was called for travel everytime

  • wats the song instrumental called?

  • This looks so Epic. I can feel my Brain melting...

  • someone called a carry !

duhh its in slow motion hahahah

    thumbbs up

  • bad dfense

  • afterall i think it's still the same move in Signature Move 2

  • Guys. This isn't 1 take. They put a few different shots together. Look at the feet. He moves around the court between camera angles.

It's like 2 or 3 takes combined into one.

  • anyone know the name of the song used?

  • hes like 'im gonna dunk!' then 'crap, im too small'

  • @darwinakabeast becuase nash did a jabstep to the right then took it up from the left

  • i thought he was gunna dunk, but then he rolled, and i was like awwwwwwww...but then i remembered he would throw his back out again, so i said yay

  • @epileptikal lol that made me laugh

  • i think he doesnt dunk because hes practicing a monster dunk

to surprise everyone when he has the opportunity to dunk

  • dam i can't do this

  • Nash is a beast

  • kimkj209 really, what else is there to say?. Everyone considers themselves a basketball fan all learn the way to dunk, I just recently completed the training course over at "50inch vertical (dot) com" - I wish I did it sooner (I am merely 5'10!)

  • So smoove...

  • i wish i could watch myself play basketball in slow motion. this is epic.

  • me 2

  • he can dunk but he just dont want...........

  • kimkj209, I love playing basketball. I am simply 5'10 and I can dunk! I simply took this special jump training program at "50inch vertical [dot] com" - anyone can do it

  • kimkj209 I m 5'8 and dunk easily - can you believe it? How do I do it? look at 50inch vertical[dot]com

  • #VIDEOPOSTERID# I'm only 5 8 and I dunk all the time in official games. I m in my high school's varsity team and my dunking impresses everyone (the girls lol). It was truthfully really easy, I just followed the unique training workout over at | 50 inch vertical [dot] com | - anyone can do it

    Steve Nash.. Signature Move 1

  • Best NBA player!

  • @stevenash4life no, its kobe

  • eh #VIDEOPOSTERID#, if you {want|would like|wish|really want} to develop in basketball, you have got to start {following|sticking with} #RANDSETa {real|actual|genuine|authentic|serious|proper|legit} # exercise routine. I used the famous training program here (50 inch vertical [dot] com). I didn t even tell this to my basketball teammates yet heh

    Steve Nash.. Signature Move 1

  • lol was there a traveling? at :18 he was only about to make a step with his right foot, then at :19 he already stepped with the left, and the right again.. 3 steps without dribbling?

  • @georgiealbay NO.

  • #VIDEOPOSTERID# I mean if I, smithbaird96 can dunk, then even you can. I am simply 5'6 seriously! Simply just don t be lazy and follow a training program like the one I'm following (50 inch vertical [dot] com), it will maximize your jump/rebounding and your basketball skills.

    Steve Nash.. Signature Move 1

  • kimkj209 dude, I improved past 12 ins on my jump by completing the training course over at 50inch vertical[dot]com. now being able to dunk is something I don't have to worry about in basketball finally, haha

    Steve Nash.. Signature Move 1

  • kimkj209 this is why love NBA perhaps even with its problems. I am doing this exercise course that's used even by NBA players - (50 inch vertical [dot] com) - already I'm jumping better and dominating on the court!

    Steve Nash.. Signature Move 1

  • kimkj209, is 5 7, white and can dunk. Wtf you mean white guys can t jump? It s (just|simply|all)# about the training people do to get their leg strength to be high enough to dunk. For me, I just used the training program over at (50 inch vertical [dot] com)

  • :21 - :24

  • :21 - :24

  • :21 - :24

  • Comment removed

  • that's travel that's why he has signature move 2

  • thats travel

  • Nash doesn't dunk because he knows laying it up is the best way he can get the ball in. Why you wanna go dunk on big dudes in the lane when you can cross em and lay it up for a 2? He ain't 6'9 270 like Lebron ya know

  • @donutboy8 6'8 silly

  • I thought he would dunk, perfect move tho

  • I made him dunking in 2k10 :)

    Not cool dunker imo :)

  • LiLAbdi97 your a dumb ass for saying steve nash dunks, when the fuck have you ever seen him dunk, never, because he doesn't dunk, he is a true basketball player he lays it up

  • steve nash can dunk. he said that in sports illustrated he just cant do it well enough to do it in games

  • @mrclutch1122 well if your 6'3" you better be dunking. or else you have no bounce at all.

  • hes a true basketball player he lays it up cough cough cant dunk just cause you cant dont cry

  • He walked he walked he walked. After his last dribble he was planted on his left foot. Therefore, the last step he can take after stepping with his right foot, is off of his left foot. However, his last step was off of his right, and that makes it a walk. This vid needs to b deleted. This gives ppl that are trying 2 Learn bball the wrong techniques n skills. Booo to this vid. Check out the other signature move video. That one is done right.

  • actually, try to see it in a different way.

he crosses the ball over and then his left foot jabs in front before the ball reaches his hand.

in a sense, he is taking another step before he catches the ball.

steve nash uses something that hasn't even been coined yet.

it's like he's placing his left foot out a split second before the normal move is started.

the reason why i checked this vid out was because i heard a semi-pro player talking about that subtle detail of this awesome move.

  • @bloodguru321 Deron Williams does this too, it's not uncommon, so does Chauncey Billups. I don't think that's what he did here though, this commercial was shot numerous times and they used multiple takes, which is why he magically appears at different places on the floor. People are looking too much into this.

  • sup kimkj209, I'm training to increase my jumping ability by doing the training workout over at 50inch vertical[dot]com - and thus far improved past 9-10 inches so far but I m still a bit away from dunking the ball It's still my 2nd week so far, any tips?

    Steve Nash.. Signature Move 1

  • perfect

  • 6'3.

  • Nash is 6'3" smart guy.

  • back crossover is hard when u run full speed

  • I almost cried that was so sweet

  • Man I gotta add that one handed-palm finish to my game. THat is too sweet.

  • Nice behind the back and sweet one handed finish.

  • Steve nash is 6' 3"? i thought he was like 5 11....where have i been.

  • um... he was traveling

  • @MCofHKG It's not traveling unless his hand is underneath the ball. When he was driving his hand was on the side, therefor, no travel.

  • I'm pretty sure his hand is underneath the ball; otherwise the ball would have fallen down to the ground. I think the part about having your hand on the side of the ball or on top of the ball and taking more than one step in between bounces is only okay when you are not about to shoot the ball. I think when you are taking a shot you can only take at most two steps without dribbling (bouncing the ball) before releasing the ball for a shot.

  • it must feel great to finish with your left like that

  • yeeppyyy wish i could do it like dat
