Yeah, the american version stinks.

1. There is no such thing as a pink Shogun zord

2. The american one's symbols are wrong

@MightyTANK1 Oh please. The minor cosmetic alterations don't count as fucking up. As for the pink Shogunzord, not everyone watches the show. To people who don't watch the show it would look like one of the female rangers had been left out if the Zord stayed white, and there would have been trouble. Trouble that would get the toy pulled from store shelves and then we would have had NOTHING AT ALL

@ZeldaTheSwordsman No one ever cries about Sei Shishi's head going from green to black. If they payed more attention, they would know that Bandai is trying to Zyuranger-fie the Dairanger and Kakuranger mechas. In other words, if Mammoth Ranger's counterpart of Dairanger is green, then his green mecha would be black. Same goes for how Ptera Ranger's counterpart is white, thus changing her mecha pink.

@anti4kids2000 No, they're not. The lion's head is a much less obvious change. And the White Shogunzord was Tommy the White Ranger's Zord, co-piloted by the Pink Ranger. But you would have to watch the show to know that. To people who didn't watch it would look like the Pink Ranger was excluded.

Sei-Shishi (Whatever indicates that it belonged to a green ranger was changed into black)

White Kark (All of that white was made pink since Ptera Ranger's counterpart IS a white ranger)

God Kark (White was kept, but red was changed to pink)

there was no Pink one it onli went by 5 the pink and white ranger shared the white shogun Zord seeing is how in the Kakuranger there was onli 5 rangers so they was left without an option but to have two rangers pilot one Zord for the US

This version of the Shogun Megazord Muteki Shogun in Kakuranger is much better than the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers version since I had it and it sucked due to the changes like the symbols and White Shogunzord being Pink and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers version of Tsubasamaru known as Falconzord in Power Rangers also sucked because the Kakuranger version had sounds and lights while the Power Rangers version did not.

@RedPolarBearRanger I had the Falconzord, and I am very surprised that it was suppose to have light and sound.

@cxjiek I did too and I discovered there was a battery area and electronics when I took mine apart. And also the other difference between the Falconzord and Tsubasamaru the buttons were also on the back of Tsubasamaru while they were absent on the Falconzord. Other than those minor changes the americian toys used the same molds as the original Japanese versions.

on the U.S. version it wasnt a lightning bolt, it was a "Z" type thing.

The japanese kids actually got what they or their parents paid for. The same toy in the commercial was the one you actually received. Us westerners got stuck with the crappy-ass BoA Shogun Megazord, with the pink zord that was supposed to be white, and the repulsive lightning bolts everywhere, even one molded right in the center where a kanji was supposed to be, on the gold chrome part.

The commericals have a lot of the series drama, the announcer takes it very dramatic, they even do the same SPFX Toei does when the mechas are combining. The U.S. version with that Pink Zord and bolt sucks big time.
