Sad that this song was wasted on the first crap episode. With a proper edit this would've been the better choice for the final battle. This song is much darker and epic which is what you would want in the biggest Jedi vs Sith fight in all six movies.

@steelpenguin79 It doesn't really suit this fight though, the speed at the beginning doesn't even come close to what's going on and it just plain doesn't sync up very well. In The Phantom Menace, there is a lot of action pauses, suiting that fight better.

The point where Anakin has Obi-Wan reeling after the kick was the biggest Epic Fail I think I've ever seen. The PRECISE moment Duel of the Fates, right there in the movie itself, is going to become perfect for the moment...Lucas switches out to Palpatine and Yoda throwing giant metallic lawn furniture at each other. Obviously, because the lightning fast kenjutsu-based Jedi/Sith swordplay is NO MATCH for BEING ABLE TO THROW BIG STUFF!

Got to say i didn't enjoy the 3rd one very much tbh, mainly due to the way Windu dies, but this duel is definitely one of the high points of all the films. Obi Wan is very much underestimated for his intelligent lightsaber skills.

This is a brilliant idea. But there was a bit of a crackling soind in the background. In my opinion though, this theme doesn't really fit in with Anakin. It sounds sort of exciting and this duel is more of a sad one. And I would have preferred the voices or at least a dialogue of some sort in English.

While I do like Battle of the Heroes better for this scene, the song does work okay, especially toward the end. My only real criticisms are that some of the song's climaxes do not match up with the video climaxes, which makes it a little less epic. Maybe select where the song starts in the video, and they will match up better. Not trying to be mean, just stating my opinion.

Dooku was one of the best duelists in the galaxy, and was one of only two Jedi that was said to have bested Mace Windu in a duel. So he was more than capable of defeating Obi-Wan. The root of the problem, though, was that since Obi-Wan was in a 2 to 1 duel, he had to use the offensive, while his strong point was defensive. So he was already at a disadvantage, plus Dooku already wanted to single out Anakin, so he was determined to get rid of Obi-Wan in the first place.

Also, the reason why Anakin was able to defeat Dooku was because his mastery of Djem So, and Dooku's preferred form of Makashi. Makashi was a dueling type based on elegance and precision, but due to its use of one-handed dueling instead of two-handed, it lacked power. Therefore, against Anakin's mastery of Djem So, a brutal dueling type based on counterattacks and physical strength and aggression, his defenses were easily battered away, and therefore Anakin was able to defeat him.

More to the point: here Anakin is fighting like a dumbass -- clearly the far more powerful in Force power, and if he had used his head, would've played to his strengths against Obi-Wan's. Moreover, Anakin and Obi-Wan were clearly used to each other's styles (hell they trained / trained with each other): neither of them show any sort of adaptation regarding this fact. They r going toe-to-toe, rather than trying to gain an upper-hand. Look how they both REACT rather than anticipate environment.

@Kronosk2 I think it's cause Obi-Wan is actually thinking with his head, like he usually does. But Anakin is being influenced by anger and not thinking at all, instead he's just wanting to kill him, and of course when you're just running on pure anger and hate that's what happens. That's probably why he lost to Obi-Wan.
