  • honestly just looking at these again makes me want to write bioware and be like REMAKE THEM ALL IN DRAGON AGE GRAPHICS!! update the systems add more customization and a deeper morality system and re sell that. people would eat it all back up

  • Best. Game. Ever. imho.

  • took his sweet time to bury that bitch of his

  • I just spent 5 minutes reading possibly the stupidest argument/ramble I've seen all week in these comments. Jesus, i thought 'I' was a bit of a nerd when it came to baldurs gate trivia.... but fuck me..... xD

  • @Musabre Indeed. I spent less time than that thankfully, but still... fuckin' hell, lol. I wish the guy who uploaded this video looked after the comment section and cleaned out that crap.

  • Strangely, I found this one of the more touching endings...

  • I am so glad BioWare decieded to change Sarevok's tragic fate and his alignment to good. It's a huge blow against self-righteous, judgemental, pompous, condescending, right-wing, conservative Nazis.

  • @Narania234 Would it be self-righteous, judgmental, pompous and condescending of me to suggest that claiming a video game story is a "huge blow" against the people you hate with such unreserved viciousness is pretty silly?

  • @mysterycycle It's only because you not have a clue whom I mean. It is of course about these obsidian Nazis. Their repulsive nwn2 was a huge blow against anything Fantsy literature stands for, it was like working for the Dark Lord. Hasbro and WotC destroyed accursed neverwinter, killed everything what vile obsidian created. It's probably why obsidian sickfucks named their lame expansion pack ''dead money.'' BioWare did Mass Effect II and Dragin Age II, killing blow against obsidian extreme evil.

  • @mysterycycle It wasn't Sarevok fault he was evil prior to teh throne of Bhaal, his very traumatic experiences fully justified his actions. Of course obsidian fucks ar ewell known for their inhumane cruelty and fondness for sadistic executions. Obsidian unspeakable evil is clear when they murdered a hurt child, Qara. But those Nazis failed, Chandra Nalaar, creation of WotC, have excatly the same personality and power like Qara.

I will see them all dead, they will ends like Irenicus in Hell.

  • For the first time, I was not sure I want to win. Too much respect for my brother Sarevok...such as Raoul in "Hokuto No Ken"

  • Had so much fun killing this guy in bg1. I couldn't beat him head to head so I used a strategy of summoning monsters to act as a distraction, whilst my two ranged fighters (Kivan and Coran) fired arrows of piercing at him. One of the main advantages of this strategy is that Tazok and Angelo don't actually attack you at all, as long as you stay out of their line of sight. Only Semaj attacked and he teleported right in front of my party's melee fighters (hehe)

  • Damn man, when I first saw him at the end of Baldur's Gate I had such respect for the character. Such a badass villain and a worthy last boss for such an awesome game. Then TOB comes around and he can join our group?! Shit... that wasn't even a decision for me.

  • FACE ME! FACE THE NEW LORD OF MURDER!

  • "terrified locals weren't sure whom to fear more"

Great enemy and great blood brother.

  • best villan in gaming history

  • @geo58impala Sarevok isn't realy a villain(rather a misguided character) since he is full party member in Throne of Bhaal. It's quite easy to change Sarevok's alignment from Chaotic Evil to Chaotic Good by good exemple.

Jon Irenicus was a pure evil, far, far worse than Sarevok and all others.

  • @Narania234 hahaha, I was far more evil than jon irenicus, he was but a quireboy compared to me, the new lord of murder: Ahrimann!

  • @goodflo911 No, Sarevok changed his alignment from Chaotic Evil to Chaotic Good, Sarevok was fully ressurected. Neutral Evil Jon Irenicus was the pure evil, nobody was that evil like he was. Only scum of worst sorts liked Irenicus. It's was't Sarevok fault he was once evil, it was fault of Lawful Evil Rieltar Anchev and Lawful Evil god Bhaal. Rieltar, Bhaal and Irenicus were inhumane, complete monsters.

There is even Sarevok romance mod, fool.

  • @Narania234 looool, you are such a nerd and you so didnt understand what I said.

    fool

  • @goodflo911 There is no sense in your bullshit. Ahriman is a evil Persian god in dualist religion Zoroastrianism, his actual name is Angra Mainyu. He is just an evil equivalent to good god Ahura Mazda, nothing more. Zoroastrianism was never especially popular and shits like final fantasy means nothing to me, they have nothing in common with Forgotten Realms.

If you are that evil like Ahriman, then you are a weakling in the terms of evil compared to Irenicus.

  • @Narania234 You failed your reading comprehension once more mister ragenerd, look at the 1 letter word I (<- 'hint') used in my first comment.

Your comment made me laugh; you even dare to compare a dime a dozen computergame villain, voiced by a B rated actor who clearly didn't care much for it, compared to the ultimate god of evil of an ancient dualist religion, of which christianity is also based. So you have problems reading and understanding basic sentences, and on top of that, ur a fool;)

  • @goodflo911 Your pathetic comment amused me from very beginning. Would Ahriman be supposed to be more evil than the Irenicus? Irenicus almost killed and replaced elven god Rillifane Rallathil. And what so did your pitiful Ahriman achieved, apart from that, that had let himself imprisoned for 3 thousand years? According to you loser Ahriman is the ''ultimate god of evil''? Ridiculous.

Pseudo-intellectual condescending, pretentious cunts like you always suffer from Unwarranted Self-Importance.

  • @Narania234 Dumbass, you stlll don't understand it, and I will just enjoy leaving you to your ignorance;)

Your reading comprehension is so bad XD XD

I even gave you the most obvious hint to why you are making a fool of yourself, but stil you dont get it. Instead you keep on rambling and rambling,

anyway I'm done here, no point trolling a dumbass who can't even read...

  • @goodflo911 It is obvious, that you are knowing nothing about the Forgotten Realms, lame pathetic idiot..

As well you are a complete ignorant in the field of history.

Actually, christianity is a Middle Eastern Religion like Islam. christianity is nothing but Judaism, version 2.0.

    bible is a poorly-written fiction.

According to it, Cain and Abel had sex with each other or Eve to make more people. bible quotes promoting murder, rape and slavery =Matthew 5:18-19. jesus had TWO fathers. LOL

  • @goodflo911 When Persians, who invented the bullshit Zoroastrianism, lost the Battle of Slamis and Battle of Plataea, they also lost the statue of their lame god, Ahura Mazda, so there is no doubt that their god was fake. Your christianity is the same false shit. Which means Gods of Olympus won and proved that they were real and pwned your god.

reading coprehension(shit nobody care about) is invented by butt-hurt douchebags. Face it, christfuck cunt.

I dare more than you can possibly think.

  • @Narania234 you mad, and you still not understanding my original post, because you still have reading problems and you still ramble on. I also like that you imply that I'm somehow christian as well haha. You entertain!

I also like that you took the time to watch my profile page, notice that it's an obvious trolling page, and then post some more mad comments on my vid and page, which obviously only amused me and people that know my page. simpleminded or heavy autist, only your parents may know.

  • @goodflo911 You are just condescending, pseudo-intelelctual, pompous cunt. Cunts like you are always bitching about ''reading comprehension'' and insisting how ''intelligent'' and educated they are, despite being complete spineless douchebag.

Kicking in the cunt usually be enough to shut such sluts up as you.

  • @Narania234 No wonder you prefer undeveloped stories of empowerment, you are a social nitwitXD

  • @goodflo911 Such idiots as you were practised at school as monkeys by their techers -dog trainers and are imagining that it somehow means that they are ''smart''. This your ''education'' only means that you are a trained monkey, you are repeating what idiots ordered you to repeat, nothing more. You served for these teacher -dog trainers with the servile smile and like a shot. You aren't even worth in order to call you a human being. You are an obedient dog, or rather bitch, nothing more.

  • @goodflo911 BioWare RPG plots are considered to be the greatest RPG stories ever made, you idiot.

Cold-hearted, calculated, organised, heartless, cynical, sarcastic, sadistic evil like Irenicus and you is far worse than hot-headed, impulsive, random evil of Sarevok. Sarevok at least still have some human feelings and emotions, unlike inhumane monster like Irenicus.

Irenicus' soul was destroyed by Lawful Evil Baatezu devils, not by Chaotic Evil Tanar'ri demons. Butt-hurt? Fitting end for him.

  • @Narania234 I lold

goodflo911: shoots off charm of lesser insulting

narania234: fails save to intelligence at -18 penalty

narania234: enrages, and loses the game

  • @goodflo911 narania234: casts Magic Circle against Evil -Abjuration [Good]

narania234: Magic Circle against Law. -Abjuration [Chaotic] narania234: Uses Chaos Hammer.-Evocation [Chaotic]

    narania234: Enters Berserker Frenzy.

    narania234: pass saves Will(Wisdom), Fortitude(Constitution) and Reflex(Dexterity).

goodflo911: Death, smitten by chaotic energy.

There is no ''save to intelligence'', you well-organised, cynical, sarcastic, sadistic sociopath , i.e. Lawful Evil idiot scum.

  • @goodflo911 Bane, Lawful Evil Lord of Darkness, is the strongest and most evil deity in Forgotten Realms. Bane's Portfolio:Fear, Hatred,Tyranny. Bane's Domains: Evil, Destruction, Hatred, Law, Tyranny. Yes, in FR the greatest evil is LAWFUL EVIl, not Chaotic Evil. In 4E Bane enslaved Tiamat- godess of all evil dragons, Loviatar-godess of pain, Hoar-god of revenge, Abbathor-god of avarice, Maglubiyet- god of goblins and Hruggek-god of Bugbears. Bane seeks the total domination of Faerûn.

  • @goodflo911 Fortunately, the Forgotten Realms is not having anything to do with your totalitarian christianity. Forgotten Realms is based on writings of R.E.Howard and J.R.R. Tolkien. Howard and Tolkien were both influenced by religions of Ancient Celts, Vikings and Ancient Greeks, freedom-loving peoples. In Tolkien's books Dark Lords Morgoth and Sauron seeks to control and enslave entire Middle -Earth and spread their tyranny excatly like Howard's Serpent God Set, deity of evil Stygia.

  • whos tomoko? I completed BG1 but that was when it came out! so long ago I dont remember...I need to play through the entire saga again at some point..

  • @dageezerboi ,tomoko is Sarevoks girlfriend

  • Maybe in death, Sarevok will find the peace with Tamoko that he was denied in life.

  • @17thknight Sarevok was fully ressurected in TOB, he returned to life. It is even possible to make him good.

  • @Narania234 Oh yes, I know, I was just speculating that maybe after he eventually died he would find peace :)

  • @17thknight it is likely that he still lives , it is not so easyto get rid of Sarevok.

  • Those who dislike this video don't have any brother...

  • Sarevok Anchev is the best killer ever ! He dealt a critical hit of 800 damage to Yaga-Shura and my screen shakes crazily and it took me seconds to see wtf is going on that YS is dead by ONE BLOW only !

Advise to those who wanna play this game (/again): Use a mage and take this SOB! he is better than your character's warrior in 10x. He's smart (Koveras (his reversed name) in BG 1) too.

    SAREVOK FTW !

  • I kind of love how several characters dont get happy endings. Just makes it all seem more epic and real (obviously something with elves and magic isnt going to be that realistic but I'm sure you know what I mean).

  • Does Sarevok have the same ending regardless of him ending the game chaotic good or chaotic evil?

  • @Jeet27 No, it has no effect on Sarevok's ending.

  • I Would Give Anything to live in the world of baldurs gate

  • This tune gives me the damn shivers, everytime.

  • Throne Of Bhaal was such a wonderful expansion; you go to learn much about Saervok's past and more on why he was the way he was in BG 1 :) It's such an interesting thought that had Gorion not raised your character and raised Saervok instead on how different things could've played out. Saervok had to witness his adoptive father from the iron throne strangling his mother among other things and on that note you might actually feel sympathy for him.

  • @Damocles178 It was Rieltar Anchev, lawful evil wizard and regional leader of Iron Throne, he strangled his wife in front of Sarevok when he was a child. Rieltar murdered her as punishment for ,,unfaithfulness'', typical tyrant. This even had significant impact on Sarevok, It's no wonder that he became bad after such a trauma. I agree, you might actually feel sympathy for him.

  • @Narania234 Indeed :) In addition to this despite what Irenicius did to your character there's a lot there that makes you feel sorry for him too :) It truly is a great series when you feel sympahy for the very person that wants to kill your character

  • @Damocles178 True, Irenicus was complete monster. BG2 starts with Irenicus torturing the Player Character, and continues with a tour of his dungeon where you find out that he has killed two of your party members from the previous game and cut one of them apart while making your little sister Imoen watch, and keeps people floating in jars in perpetual pain and madness. Sarevok became bad because of his horrible experiences, not because of inborn evil. Irenicus is perfect exemple of inborn evil.

  • @Narania234 Irenicus used to be a good guy ;p

  • @MrJackanddena Irenicus was always evil. Shadows of Amn starts with his torturing the Player Character, and continues with a tour of his dungeon where you find out that he has killed two of your party members from the previous game and cut one of them apart while making your innocent little sister watch, and keeps people floating in jars in perpetual pain and madness, and stuff like that. His former people and most of the playable characters also think of him very much in Complete Monster terms.

  • @Narania234 Time existed before the start of shadows of amn.

  • @MrJackanddena Even his former people-Wood Elves, Wild Elves- and most of the playable characters also think of him very much in Complete Monster terms. He wanted to destroy Wood Elf god Rillifane Rallathil and replace him. It happened for ages before Shadows of Amn.

  • have it in my mobile phone

  • Sarevok was always a kickass character.

  • Aw, I always knew Sarevok wasn't such a bad guy, despite that BG 1 intro

  • Wwow..that is actually a kick-ass ending..never would think sarevok would go to kara-Tur..there is a novel..many novels..that this game could inspire.

  • I love how his voice actor is the same as Cleveland Jr. from the Cleveland Show... XDDDD

  • Oh, so that's why Tamoko was hanging out with him. Now I feel stupid. :P

  • @BGEndings wtf? didn't i kill Tamoko in bg-1...... And the the ending says he returns to her...... how?

  • @koveras13 It says he went to bury her. duh

  • @koveras13 It says he buried her. As in he took her remains to her homeland so they could be put to rest.

  • the greatest gaming-saga of all times. after that, i became a dungeon master :)

  • Dunno how Tomoko puts up with him sometimes.

  • The last sentence always makes me sad :/. This is how epic story ends, leaving emptyness behind - knowing there just can't be continuation.

This is the best game of my childhood and even though I have played tons of games until now, Baldur's Gate Saga is still my top 1 of all times.

  • @tathtath BGII has left so many orphans behind... nothing in 10 years or so couldnt replace it. DAO has been such a letdown...

  • @tathtath second that!

  • @tathtath Head up, it isn't quite said he died. Sarevok lives, just like most of the Baldur's Gate II party.

  • Saverok was a bad mother fucker.

  • May Helm guide you lost one.

  • *Sniff* now I feel bad for Sarevok...

  • say what you want but if i ever get rich i will by back bg from bethedsa and make a movie and all sorts of sequels!

  • tomoko had the full plate+1 in bg1 right?

  • Yes, she did.

  • @taltor727

really? darn I spared her :(

  • after reading this for the first time i felt bad about killing Tomoko

  • Sarevok was the fucking man hands down my fav character :)

  • Rest in peace brother

  • There are 2 endings for Sarevok (I believe, if not so, more) One is him turning Chaotic Good and one is him staying Chaotic Evil.

Only way to turn him into Chaotic Good would be not letting him swear an oath in the very beginning

  • No there isn't. I've checked the game files.

  • yes there is if you meet the right conditions

1 dont make him swear the oath

2 dont let him die ( hard as hell)

3 forgive him for killing Gorion

  • No there isn't. You can change his alignment but not change his ending. Maybe you have a mod installed.

  • i meant his alignment not the ending

    ^.^;

  • He is my favourite! I prefer him being a bad guy, I always play with evil characters. It's a pity there is no Sarevok romance. T.T

  • i highly doubt a malevolent force such as the mighty sarevok could be romantic. he'd be good for one night stands like his father though.

  • Everyone is capable of love. Being a bad guy doesn't mean he's not. Tamoko, his love is even mentioned here in the ending...

  • As I know, that Sarevok romance was published some time ago at Spellhold Studios.

  • @Drowfan

Considering that Sarevok is your brother, having a romance with him is kinda icky. :P

  • @dreamdewil Actually, Sarevok is a half-brother. He share with player character only the same father-Bhaal, Lawful Evil Lord of Murder. They have both different mothers.

Bhall was killed by Chaotic Evil Cyric.

  • thank 4 the vid :)

Sarevok has gotta be my fave char in TOB i just love when he dose his psyco laugh and tears the enimeys to shreds muhahaha

  • What about that guy with the ugly portrait. I don't think he was in the 1st one. ( i think he's a half orc) isn't he a companion in baldur's gate 2?. You can only be him?.

  • Installed again.

    Favorited.

    Five Stars.

    *Bows*

  • Thanks. I'm at a loss on what I can possibly upload next. I was going to upload sound sets from the series for each character (Minsc's was legendary) but I wasn't happy with the results.

  • Hope you can find some more stuff to upload, loved your videos and loved Baldurs Gate. Can't wait for my copy of Dragon Age: Origins to arrive in a couple days. It is the spiritual successor to BG.

  • I don't know what else to create and upload. I was thinking something that includes the highly memorable sound clips from random characters and enemies in the games, but I don't know what exactly.

And yes, I'll be getting Dragon Age: Origins, although it comes out in the UK on Friday.

  • Yes, your probably right. There isn't much else to show as you've shown all the endings. Maybe you'll get some new inspiration while playing DA:O. Could maybe make some DA:O themed videos.

It comes out here in the US on Tuesday, my copy should be arriving in the mail on Tuesday hopefully.

  • Bah... damn you all! Now i have to install the whole game series and play it trought AGAIN!

  • I just finished BG1, it is quite alarming Sarevok had emotions.

I will enjoy revisiting his character when i get far into the game.

  • Yeah you're right. You can talk with him alot and bond with him and it changes his alliance and he becomes fiercely loyal to your character. He even threatens to kill people that aren' polite if they speak to you wrong. And he beomces a Hero and still buries Tamoko

  • Yes, you can do this in the game. However the epilogue doesn't seem to change.

  • correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there two endings for Sarevok? One when he stays his evil alignment (which I believe this one is), but another that shows up if you succeed in converting him to become Chaotic Good through conversations with him throughout ToB? Again, I could be wrong..

  • There is only one epilogue for Sarevok. There may be a second one in Ascension though. Changing his alignment appears to do nothing to the ending in the original game.
