  • i find this easy to masturbate to

  • i would love to see the crazy ass moshpit outside the stage.

  • Superb.

  • Tenéis problemones de afinación y tempo...para que subís esta mierda¿? Patético, habéis destrozado una obra magnifica.

  • this is awesome i love tuba itz my first year of playing it so... i wanna learn this :D

  • It's called tuna polka

  • What is this piece called? I want to learn it so badly!!

  • @TheC0mbustableLem0n Clarinet Polka. one of the favorites of polka performers and internet trolls alike.

  • nice air

  • I play the tuba and one day we listened to this in class and my teacher said we were playing this next year as a joke. But I actually want to learn to play this! :p

  • I am going to learn to play this!

  • @tehgreatrandini aha i already know how too do it

  • @98hondaxr100 Impressive. I glanced at a free sample of the music and it's intimidating. Training my lips to play that high is the biggest challenge though.

  • the song that played in my mind when my 8th grade english teacher would walk in the room! Don't wipe out the lil debbies snaks Mrs.Klaasen!

  • tuba is great but im sorry this really sucks... just listen to the canadian brass version...

  • @0BIGBUCKEYE9 are you think of flight of the tuba bee, because these are two completely different things

  • tuba is great but im sorry this really sucks...

  • It's videos like this that make me proud to play the tuba <3

Too bad there aren''t that many girl players like myself.

  • @flytrappedinajar1 I just started three weeks ago!!!!!! Best instrument ever. ! :D

  • I cannot believe my dad wants me to learn this. :l. Amazing job!!

  • F*CKIN' AWESOME!!!!!Real musicians still exist in America!!!!! No f*ckin turntables, no f*ckin digital drum track, no f*ckin rap beats, no computers or electronics....... Just good solid musical discapline where these musicians have honed their craft and just played a F*CKIN AMAZING SONG!!!!! Miles Davis forever!!!!!

  • @ksmithity yep

  • Comment removed

  • The tuba player makes them sound like noobs.

  • @nyffeler2 Do you have any idea how hard it is to play that thing quickly and clearly?

  • @nigeltheoutlaw actually i do, i play tuba myself. i made region band this year and made 1st chair top band (wind ensemble) in region 9. i had my concert yesterday and played everything including my solo perfectly.

  • @nigeltheoutlaw what hea means by his comment "the tuba player makes the others sound like noobs (which we have determined to be calling someone a "begginer") is meant to say that he thinks the Tuba Player sounds like hes the best and the rest sound like begginers compared

  • @nyffeler2 what exactly does a noob sound like?what is a noob?ive never heard anyone in my life actually call another person a "noob" in real life.

  • @kyuubisharinan3296 noob is basically slang for beginner

  • can i have the tuba sheet music? my email is dapogger@gmail dot com

  • Whats the actual name of this song?

  • @gonewrong01 it's the clarinet polka ;)

  • Where can we get the music for this Tuba Quintet

  • Compliment very nice sound

    Gianni

  • OMG, I THINK THIS IS THE SAME SONG THAT IS IN "CHARLIE, CANDY MOUNTAIN"!?!?

  • very clear !

  • um, this is "clarinet polka" with the tuba playing the clarinet solo. not bad though.

  • HA! Besides him splitting partials at 1:38, it was fuggin smexy.

  • This is so good :)

  • no good tonguing

  • This rocks! Whoo Hoo!

  • BADASSINESS!!!

  • Candy Mountain, Charlie?

  • @alveana14 alveana does nothing in youtube comments. She's pretty useless. lol

  • Unlike you, youtube isn't my life. :) You know, try going outside (out of your house), the fresh oxygen might do you some good :)

  • Thanks. I will do that. Thanks a lot.

  • @checkthisjunkout

You don't even know me, so don't ASSUME. You're pretty useless commenting on this video.

  • fuck you their the best

  • obvious troll is obvious.

    obvious retard is fucking retarded.

  • @alveana14 .. Excuse me ? Just try continuing a song without the tuba there to complete your sound , tubas are the foundation of the band , without them the band falls .

  • uhhhhhh-mazing...realy great guys...me and my friend play this song as a duet but i play clarinet and she plays flute....we r in the 7th grade and we wanna became professionals...

  • Then don't change a BRASS piece into a WOODWIND piece. We get pretty annoyed

  • ok...but muscians should respect ALL instrumants...not just there type...i get pretty annoyed too

  • @ilovejamesbondify I didn't say I didn't have respect for them, you don't make that conclusion.

  • @SenatorSparkman okay... i didnt mean to offend you.. but first off.. arent we all on thye same team... just because you are brass and i am woodwind doesnt matter.. we both love making music..and we are still both very nmportant instruments in a band. a band would be bad without tuba and it would also be bad without clarinets. Lets just forget about it and go on with playing music and doing what we love to do.

  • @SenatorSparkman Pssst, you do know that this piece was written as a WOODWIND piece and changed to a BRASS. You don't really see us whining about it. Go snuff your pride somewhere else, ok?

  • sehr fein...

  • We called it TUBAMUCKEL and nearly all other instruments can play it, too !!

  • You are the embodiment of the culmination of generations of ignorance. I pity your family.

  • @Alveana14 tuba is the most important instrument. The deep sound supports everything in every song its featured in and it just sounds amazing

  • They sound beautiful, you are mistaken.

  • 0.0

  • win!

    haha

  • yay tuba

  • I had a walnut-brownie and a cup of 7-Up during the intermission!

  • Running helps to play Tuba. Builds up your lungs. I love Tuba =D

  • Luvs me the tuba. I've mastered middle range tone, but the upper register is hard to get a perfectly clear cut tone. I have some old videos of me playing if u want to check em out!

  • Playing those pedal tones strengthens the upper register =)

  • This sounds like the candy mountian song,

  • It is the clarinet polka. The candy mountian song too o-o

  • It sounded good but Tuba part was choppy.

  • that isnt a wagner tuba?

  • is the song also from charlie the unicorn

    GO TUBAS

  • I've had the music for this for over a year, and still havent gotten around to it. I can play it, but not yet at tempo, except for the candenza, man it is fun.

  • amazing, whats this song called?

  • Clarinet Polka is the name

  • tuba muckl

  • Its actually called "Tuba Polka" Its a Canadian brass arrangement

  • Charlie the unicorn!!!

  • wow great tuba player !

  • You're a cocky one, aren't you?

  • You're a cocky one, aren't you? Let me see an "admirable" video of you performing.

  • OMG! Candy Mountain Charlie!

  • yay!!

  • @MalapertMarshmellow yeah, i know.

  • It is the clarinet Polka but Polka Grantfadher With

  • i think brass instruments must be so much harder to produce a sound than woodwinds.

  • I think I agree with you there. Although it's important to develop a good tone, I think woodwinds focus more on a good technique, sort of like piano. Just look at their parts in most literature compared to brass.

  • It's not brass vs woodwinds. It's that on the tuba, you have a really big column of air that you need to get started and stopped. Plus the human ear hears the low sounds less clearly. So you have to have exceptionally good "diction", compared to a high-pitched clarinet or trumpet.

  • Very good polka, Arriba el Norte de Mexico, si señor!!!!!!!

  • you really gotta give credit to the rest of the group too. Everyone here did a really good job!

  • polka time!!

  • Charlie the Unicorn :P

  • coooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can someone tell me the name of this song so i can get it? It's just awesome, but funny at the same time.

  • It's sometimes called "Tuba Muckl" but it's published by Canadian Brass as "Tuba Polka" (hence the title of this video)

  • k, thanks.

  • too bad the tuba is so hard to hear, it would make it a lot nicer probably. (trumpets, you need to quiet down!)

  • charlie the unicorn anyone?

  • haha, yes! o charlie plz wont you come into the cave!

  • Should probably work on the multiphonics..other than that...fair...When I was in high school, my quintet played that...not a very tough song to play

  • looks like a C tuba

  • 'tis

  • wow!

  • the candy mountain song goes to this tune..

    :D

  • Wow... that's sooo good!

  • Try not to cover up the tuba's sound with the counterparts

  • Fair enoughski.

It's ages since I've been in a brass band.

  • You have strange, sideways valves on that tuba.

  • Rotary valves like a French Horn....

4th valve take the place of 1 and 3

  • Clarinet Polka is the true name of the song. There IS a Tuba Polka that was recorded by a polka band called Ampol Aires that does not resemble this song at all.

  • Wahooo... amazing!!! what a player!!!

  • whos that faggot with a tuba?

Hey thats our dad! Danny watch your mouth!

    oh shit!!! im sorry

good old tourettes guy..check him out if you like tubas.

  • the title it Clarinet Polka despite what instrument it be played upon

  • muy bueno el video

  • i agree

  • This piece is called "Clarinet Polka", just because it can be played on tube doesn't mean the tittle is to be changed.

other than that, great job! you guys sounded wonderful.

  • Tell that to Canadian Brass.

  • it is polish polka:) it is cold "polka grandfather":)

  • Very Cool! Awesome! Hats off to you for picking a polka to play in our multi-cultured school system. Now if you played actual American Christmas songs at the Christmas Concert and not some Kwanzaa, Jewish, Arab, Indian, Jap crap that has wrecked every Christmas Concert I have been to, I would love you even more! They are in our Country, sing our Christmas Songs!

  • listen to how long the pic player holds the note!

  • Tubas ROCK!

  • CANDY MOUNTIN!!!!!!!!!!! XD i <3 this song!!!

  • Not Candy Mountain. Candy Mountain is this.

  • i got this piece to see what i could do with it, im a sophomore in high school, and obviuosly, just hell no

the fact that this is at 120 beats per minute, in cut time, is ridiculous in that octave

this guy and anyone who can play this is a mad tuba player and deserves a lot of credit

    love watching this

  • around 1:30 its really hard cuz you have to jump C 2 octaves

  • the low pedal tone makes me come...

  • Good job. Sounds great!

  • the bass drum is missing^^

  • The tuba sounds like "Candy montin cave" from charile the unicorn. xD

  • thats where charlie got the song from.

  • OOO:

  • yea thatz wat the song wuz based off of

  • i know a high school player that can play this song so much better, major props, nice song.

  • nice

  • He's a killer player, no doubt.

However, after having listened to the Canadian Brass play it many times, this just doesn't stack up. The CB's is MUCH cleaner. Maybe it's because it's a live recording.

Regardless, there's no way I could play this. Kudos.

  • anybody how is looking for the title

" der klarinettenmuckl" a polka originally for two clarinets and wind orchestra.

    mostly called: clarinet polka.

And yes he plays the whole piece almost the same notes as the clarinets would do!!only the cadenza is addapted for tuba ( extra low notes)

    very good. great!

  • I hae the music and i will play that for my school i hope go tuba!

  • beautifully performed. sounded like charlie the unicorn o_0

  • god that tuba is amazing

  • I bought this and would play it with a quintet but at my school we have horrible trumpets, but they are getting better so i might ask them if they want to play it for solo and ensemble the next year.

  • shiiiiiiiiiiit!

    that tuba players a BEAAAAAAAST

  • where is this group located?

  • techniquement c'est très bien fait , mais je trouve pas l'arengement très bien , trop sobre dans l'accompagnement

  • ...inthecandymountaincave

  • lol

  • holy

    thats amazing

  • oh my god, i want to play tuba like youuuu

  • Quelle superbe performance !

  • Amazing! I'd love to be play so fast and skilled. :)

  • thats amazing... I am a tuba player my self in the 9th grade... the only girl tba player have been ever since I stated.....amazng job....

  • girl tubas ftw!!! heehee, I'm the only girl tuba in my band too (Im also in 9th grade)

dude, this is freaking amazing! and it is the candy moutain cave song

  • OMG!! this vid makes me want to be a tuba player! that's awesome guys

  • O.O omg dude!! it's exactly opposite to normal!!! it's usually the tuba playing the beat and the other stuff that everyone else is playing right now, and they give that to some clarinet player. YOU'RE MY HERO DUDE!! lol

  • god that sound is so clean, rofl i just havent heard such a clean performce, from all the instruments!

  • i play clarinet i wouldnt mind playing tuba though its a really cool instrement

  • dude awesome my tuba has Rotary Valves to

  • I love Tubah ^^

  • WOW! you clearly have no idea what the fuck you're talking about.

  • WOW, you clearly have no idea what the fuck you're talking about.

  • i want this tuba part bad i would love to play it.

  • It sounds like the "candy mountain song" for a while

  • thats because it is.

  • Muy bueno, arriba el viento-metal, gracias por colgar estas magnificas interpretaciones, un saludo.

  • very gooood concert

  • y love tuba!!!!

  • and the cadenza basically sucked.

  • it's called "clarinet polka"

    Canadian Brass owns this.

  • oh shit get it. break it down now

  • Anyone know what the song is called?

  • Sounds like the Clarinet Polka, but only the first part.

  • I think it is, but only written for tuba.

  • You must have just started, xXdoggy892Xx, because after your lungs get strong, it's not hard at all.

  • True it does get easyer once you build your lungs but to say it's not hard at all is a lie. Honestly I have played all the brass instruments and tuba is the hardest air, and innotaion wise. Your techniques have to be near perfect or you sound like mush. Granted that its harder on trumpet for range and french horn for accuracy, but overall tuba is the hardest instrument I've played.

  • Oh yeah, tuba's hard, I was just talking about the amount of air required to get a good tone, once your lungs get fit, one can easily play for thirty seconds or more with good tone

  • You right it gets easyer the longer you play. Sorry, I guess I read your comment in a different way than you ment it. The only thing thats increadibly hard even after playing for years is play loud and substaining it.
