  • can you plz repeat it one more time for me plz?

    i think it's really funny:

    say it out loud:

    PASSION FRUIT!

    hahaha

  • sooooo cool lol, i love tegus

  • I saw one of these at the pet store the other day...and now I really want it lol. Too bad it was $360

  • Go to a reptile show they cost anywhere from 100-150 Pet Store are money hungry asswholes

  • Crash how much did you get your red for?

  • $75

  • so true my ocal pet store was selling a bearded dragon for 250.00 rediculous right

  • im not suprise I get savannah and niles for 6-10 and see them at pet stores for like 45-65

  • Yeah I ended up paying $250 for mine. $500 with everything I bought for him. Could have saved quite a bit of money if I went to an expo.

  • i order a red tegu high contrat for that much omg thats rediculous shoul of ordered online or something

  • wow wat a rip off

  • is that passion fruit? lol very cute! I have a black and white baby tegu..im thinking about getting a red one too, are they aggressive at all? cuz mine is really tammed and mellow..

  • YES, Bingo, it is passion fruit.

  • hi ... I have you some questions .....those animals eat dead animals or they have to kill them? I ask you this because I want a tegu but I dislike how they kill the mouses and I ask me if I can give it a peace of meat bought in the supermarket? what can they eat?

  • both dead or alive

    they scaveng or hunt

i love them when they hunt a mouses why

cuze they dont have a vry strong bite

they catch them with there mouth and snap there nick on the floor

and you can pre kill the mice if you want

and grind the meat before giving them

  • good job, he looks way better then half the ass holes on here feeding them mice and shit, tegus need a deit of almost all fruit, meat is needed, but not as much as people give and live feeding is so stupid, give them chickin or beef, way better for them, or at least pre killed mice

  • noooo.....most tegu species are primarily carnivorous

  • arg. tegus are not carnivors

  • o k my bad :)

  • theyre omnivorous scavengers they should be called everythingavores theres a video of one eating out of a trash can like a racoon =]

  • well, the colubians are carnivorous , reds are almost herbavours about 70/30, and the blues and b&w are about 50/50, not truely omnivorous, witch would be 60/40

but anyway check out tegutalkdot com

if you like tegus you will love it
