My son's Bar Mitzvah is coming up and I would like to create a video with a similar theme. He is a ham (I have lots of video amunition!) and even has a big brother named Justin and a little sister. Wow, I'm a German teacher looking for something to let my students learn about bar mitzvah in the USA. This video doesn't exactly contain a lot of information about that but it was fascinating to watch. You seem to be such a happy family. the narrative or the video ? or was it a combination of the two. " As you were editing were you writing the narrative?

For the process, we sort of had an outline going into it, that it would follow that Behind the Music structure (i.e. rise to stardom to fall from grace to redemption). But then it was just a matter of digging through years and years of footage and photos and making things work. Most of the jokes would come from remembering an image or a clip and thinking it could work in a specific place. So it was being developed throughout, from start to finish.
