As I have written...she´s always been reffered to as Jarmil. But people cheered her up coz her rivals were from GDR or USSR. Those who knew a bit about sports had no illusions. Yet today, Czech papers write about doping in East Germany and USSR but never mention Czech athletes. One journalist found anabolics delivery order signed by her couch. They were all doing it. Doping in GDR and USSR was very well organised, in Czechoslovakia it was not directed centrally.
Compare shot put results from 80´s and now. Now you win Olympics with 20,50m, 20 yrs ago you´d be 8th with such performance.
Kocembova is, I think, the only top Czech athlete who gave birth to a child. I aM NOT SURE ABOUT GUYS LIKE žELEZNÝ, dVOŘÁK, šEBRLE - never had any positive tests. Still, many say you can´t be a champ without doping
AFAIK Jarmila did appear in a Czech ad a few years ago, and she didn't look unusually masculine, more like a typical woman in her late 50's. "W_xmphS8168" <- There it is.
She did look _incredibly_ ripped and masculine though back in her heydays!

@jakubpetricek Did anyone in Czechoslovakia suspect she may have been on drugs during the 1980's. Kocembova looks pretty beefy as well.

OMG.... she´s huge.
Too bad that so much hardwork in the field is not recognized as being "clean", but it´s really hard to believe when we see someone as big as she was.
Nevertheless, I recall having a mini-poster of her when I was an athlete :-)
