Not the same group as the 5 Sharps of Stormy weather; but is this the group that did all the "hollerin" behind those Duane Eddy instrumentals? (All on Jamie)
Loved the sharps, Don't know if these are the same guys that did "stormy weather". Supposed to be rarest on 78rpm, worth a lot. I think they are one & the same. Also loved gig-a-lene. wish I could hear that one again
This record didn't fall through the cracks. In 1958, there were so many great songs that it was inpossible to hear, and rate them all. I'm happy that I can now enjoy this great song by a great group. We are fortunate to have Doo_Wop, the greatest sounding music to one's ear.
It is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to catch everything musically speaking. This number here is definitely a HIT! Somewhere along the line of doo-wop history this piece fell through the cracks!! What a shame. Peace
never heard this before, but the harmony is so great. wow

These guys KILL me. Carl White on the lead, just great. Soulful as hell. And just as good in the Rivingtons.
