  • SO CUTE! Especially when the screen fills with balloons at the end.

  • CTW for the win!

  • Thank you a zillion times over for this. My favorite of all time.

  • This and "G - Grover, G - George" are two of my favorites. Of all time. Thank you Jim Henson & Frank Oz... and all of the amazing puppeteers on Sesame Street. And thanks also to all of the incredible singers & songwriters. Peace. xo

  • I'm surprised that Rubber Duckie wasn't the first thing Ernie mentioned liking...then again, that wouldn't have made such a lovely finale. :-)

  • I have always adored this skit. To think such a lovely lullaby almost went unused. And I too cannot understand the logic behind remaking it - after all how many kids watching Sesame Street today would know who Herry is?

  • I can remember seeing this and sometimes they woudln't show the complete street sceene.

I'm even suprised it anded with a cricket chirping, let alone the screen is blank when we hear it.

  • @MIKECNW This came from a home video, so the blank screen is part of my editing on it.

  • As usual your uploads are amazing MarshalGrover. Thank you for sharing classic Sesame Street! :)

  • Monsters and "wubba wubba" go a long way back on Sesame Street, judging by this clip... :-) Imagine losing a classic like this, though--now THAT is scary!

  • If Ernie heard Grover's "Monster in the Mirror", he'd go into a real panic.

  • That was very cool.

  • Now here's a true Sesame Street classic far better than the remake. And that montage of falling balloons is perfect for making one feel peaceful.

  • @Garrettk41 Can't understnd why they musr remake these.

  • @MIKECNW I think the look of the street at the end is one reason.

  • @MarshalGrover Well still, it doesn't mean they should remake it.

  • @MIKECNW Maybe they felt kids would go restless at the ending montage. Kids have shorter attention spans nowadays.

  • @Garrettk41 Your reply doesn't make any sense.

  • @MIKECNW No, it makes complete sense.

  • 3:37 is the best music ever to appear on "Sesame Street." Peace.

  • I can tell by the cricket chirping at the end you got this from "Bedtime Stories and Songs".

Either way, I vote this as THE greatest SST moment of all time.

  • Guided meditation with Ernie and Bert. =)
