  • @piechulla1966 Hey Man / Girl! No disrispect intended! My Dad was 1/2 German My MA was 1/2 French! Guess I'm just European. It's just being brought up in England and speaking the language of my Anglo Saxon forefarthers, I think my language makes it easier! No masculine, Feminin, any of of that shit! Know what I mean? Hey good luck, and thanks for the reply!

  • Apart from the fact that I really admire Andy Warhol and that Velvet Underground scene and love this tribute to Andy! I think looking at the french subtitles, that English has to be the best language in the world! Which is good for me coz it's the only language I can speak Imagine trying to put German subtitles to this video? It's just too fast! Poor Germans!

  • @cunobelinusX31

I'm German and I admire the precision of the French translation (seems slightly too verbatim to me, but my French is rudimentary). I disagree with your "the shorter the better" - idea. Obviously you never had to learn Latin. Lucky devil!

  • Das Lied ist der Kanaller, es zerbricht alle Atitüden bis auf eine: EVERYBODY IS A STAR

  • Isn´t ZenPapageno a little out of this space? But really good novel here, anyway.

  • pure poetry!!!Lou Reed is a god!!!

  • ANDY: Mr. Dylan, what exactly are your intentions concerning Edie? DYLAN: Well, you see, I .. ANDY: As the producer of more than 50 movies, I think I know more about motion pictures than you. I question your motives. Dylan: Hey, you got me all wrong. ANDY: I may not be your idea of a "he-man," but if anyone is a threat to that fragile child, I am MAD, as MAD AS A WET HEN, and willing to FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR MY BABY BIRD! I suggest that you leave, or that we step outside and settle this.

  • from ANDY WARHOL'S DRACULA ... No more, Count Dracula, will you sink you filthy fangs into my little white neck! I shall escape this castle and be free of the unholy bondage with which you enslave these miserable creatures who ... Oh, don't give me that look! Shit! This is all about YOU, huh? Where are my Nembutals? I do not smell.

  • from FACTORY BOY ... EDIE: It's been great, Andy, but I feel stifled here at the Factory. I need to grow. I'm anorexic. I have an odor. I have constant nightmares, tremors. It's time for a change. I want to sign a contract with ... ANDY: I'm phoning Bob Dylan right now ... Bob? There's a special friend of mine who wants to speak with you! I don't think she's "Miss Lonely" anymore, because she has A DIRECTION HOME! And SHE'S NO ROLLING STONE! EDIE: Andy, are you crying?

  • There was no magic word Andy could have used to stop his actors from abusing drugs while they were making movies with him, except maybe Cut.

  • Actually, tuition for the Movie Star Training Academy was on a sliding scale based on the resources of the individual. When the applicant said, How much will it cost? Andy would always say, How much have you got?

  • Andy insisted that, however weak, his actors were never made more responsive and interesting by clearly unethical methods, such as a cattle prod. A practicing Catholic who had denounced Edie as promiscuous and bulimic, Andy would have been applauded for having her flogged.

  • The idea that Andy tossed Edie aside is a myth. He anticipated her immanent suicide, but he figured he could squeeze a few movies out of her before her last breath and tried his best to keep her in line. A penny saved is a penny earned!

  • Heres my scenario for Factory Boy. The Plucky Pittsburgh Printmaker takes on the WASP Establishment to save a fragile princess with fashion and freedom, until his heart is broken by hippie scum from Woodstock. Songs by Weezer.

  • "Frankly, Miss Sedgwick, it will be very difficult for me or any Hollywood agent to get you a movie part, because of bad publicity. People say that Andy Warhol is paying you to take illegal drugs." "SHIT! I'M PAYING HIM!"

  • "Daddy, I've been accepted into the New York Movie Star Training Academy! The Fall tuition is just $5000!"

  • Actually, the film Lupe wasnt completely improvised. Edie Factory Girl by Finklestein quotes playwright/author Robert Heide. Andy stood with him on the bloody sidewalk where Johnny Dodd had committed suicide and said he wanted to film it when Edie finally committed suicide. Andy used Heides scenario to make his suicide movie Lupe starring Edie. Google Images: dead Lupe, head in toilet. Heide points out the pig's tendency to depict the humiliation of women and transvestites.
