your strategic attack towards the island was smart. in the pacific Douglas (commander of us forces in the pacific) used a technique called island hopping attacking and taking over the most useful and strategic islands for close bombing campaigns against japan

Oh I just realized you forgot the Yalu River, the river that seperates the Korean Peninsula from the rest of the world and in the Korean War provided Chinese justification to intervene once UN got too close. 2 important reasons why that river is special.

This is good nonetheless, but I am dissapointed you still remained with the X-Day plan and didn't invade China and Korea before hitting the main islands. I just like ahistorical moments in historical games.

@reddenbawker true, but what is important that even though this is a historical scenario, its still have to be game-balanced. I did not want get bogged down in China or Korea while Japan would grow ever more powerful by the minute. Also historically US have never invaded China. They also never invaded Japan. But i had to to win the game.
