Ahem, the original Moondogs first performed in 1977 in London. Drummer was Tim Goldsmith who went on to play with Alison Moyet and the Thompson Twins,the rest of the band were Hugh Sadler, John Yorke and Clifford Hants.
I see the previous comments, however, being a long time Soul Asylum fan, i think you guys did a great job with a great pre-Runaway Train song. I don't know where you guys are from, but if you ever come to Cleveland, i'll be there.
It's a pity you lads stole your name off a band from Derry in Ireland called the Moondogs. They've been playing since 1979, released a bunch of singles, 2 albums and had a TV show in europe. Change your name dudes...it's taken!!
