Yeah, you guys are being really silly about the Rainbow Dragon thing. It's too inconsistent, too hard to get out. It's MUCH better to focus on something like Abundance.

People need to learn that just because it's a card with the theme, even the "boss monster," it doesn't necessarily need to be used.

i run crystal beasts and let me tell you rainbow dragon may be broken but its a amazing beat stick for the deck and if you have ancient rainbow city backing rainbow dragon up he will be use full, to make a long story short even if you cant get him out quickly he is what can make a crystal beast deck great.

i really hate when people say that the rest of the crystal beast suck, they are there for a reason mammoth is to protect other crystal beast that you want them to live, cat is to attack your opponent directly if they are deffending too much, tortoise is for defence and every body ignors the power of cobalt eagle, first he is the ONLY crystal beast that can use hes effect on the splee ang trap card zone and he is good to combine with pegasus to keep drawing out other crystal beast and to save him

after lots of years running and loving cb's i can say that a build with like all 7 cb's and 2-3 rainbow's is better....i know that turtle eagle and amethyst are pretty noob but seriously it works :) still i tried this built and its pretty good as well

I like the idea behind this build, though personally I prefer using Hamon. Any Ideas as to what could be subbed for PoD? They're well out of my reach for the time being :(

@Kailystos i like hamon too but he just doesnt have that good of an effect and you have to get rid of all your backrow crystal beasts for a beatstick. but the only reason the POD are in there is for consistency so i guess u could use upstart goblins maybe

@TeamHiFivEoH You have no idea how many duels i've won just because of a lucky draw (Drawing Rainbow Dragon). Since you have so many Saphire Pegasus and Crystal Beacon you should be able to get him out in no time.

Have you tried using stratos in this deck? That's only to raise the monster count a bit. I tried using the deck on the game. I had no idea that is Daimond dude hit Abundance you could still use it from the grave even with no CBs in the backrow...

Would Trag work in this deck? I found whenever I played CBs I would have all of there support cards in my hand a lot of the time.

The only problem is that Bottomless absolutley kills CBs, if heavy storm comes back.... It's not like you can run judgement or seven tools to counter them either :(
