1:29, i have the same controller but that big metal thing in the middle (forgot what its called) right under where the menu button is, the big X you know, its in the shape of an oval, i dont have that on my controller BUT i have a 3 prong, and i've taken apart every xbox controller i had and they're all the same :( what do i do? all i have is the 3 prong and it looks different...

Yeah u have to a solder gun so the wire stays there but u can try it but I think it wouldn't work because it would probily break the connection

ive done this to several controllers and it has worked perfect make shore you have the resistor and try moving it a bit closer to the led if you can but try not to get any solder on the led

your controller is too new to mod . i suggest ebay for an older controller . another thing try look right under where the battery pack should be and right in the cor ner it should say tp3 but instead it will say c15 . if it says tp3 you are ok but c15 you are screwed . sorry if i have been bad help .

that is completely normal . there are two kindes of switches that i know off . i have both . a momentary push button (which you have) . and an on/off push button/switch . in simple terms ... you have to hold your one the complete the circuit and you have to just turo on the other one i. i will add a diagram anyway in another comment on this video =)

normaly a special chip needs too be made up and it takes days even just to find the componants for the chip , but this is a new way that you do not need the chip to make the rapid fire work . i know it may be a little confusing but it will come to be easy soon . i thought it was impossible at first but it worked after a long time . check out my video that shows that the mod works and watch all of the video , because it shows a finished controler and one in progress .

i have done this to my controller it works but it pulses and it does that because when the metal resister powers the led's it sends pulses and since the soldered wire is connected to the led and the middle of the three prongs you will get a rapid fire controller

sorry hot glue will not conduct electricity,in other words,it does not complete the circle . i know solder is messy but you can get practice by getting an old circuit board from an old tv or printer and get some wire from an electric store and use that for practice . and if you want a switch you can buy a ster wars feel the force lightsaber (i stole my cosins one)so just get some practice and go at it . OH!!!! make sure your controller says TP3 some where on the circuit board under the batteries

for newer controlers ie wireless all u need to do is connect 1 wire to the middle pin and 1 wire to ur rubble pacl live connection solder both wires to small switch ther u have it i will be doing a vid in the nxt few days as am doing a friends 4 him and will also be doing offers if u wont to send controllers 2 me with return packege will do so at a small cost
