@tripnbilly77 i think the S&W mp 15/22,is a much better gun. its more accurate and far easier do disassemble for cleaning. i dont have one yet,but if i can unload the colt,ill be buying one also.
i got the m&p 15-22 last year and I just bought the m&p 15 ... I have been told to stay away from colt - dont have any personal comparisons to go by between the two though.. I like my two S&W's good guns - this gun looks like the real AR15 tho
@therealMFfeelyaheard I've had the colt tactical 22 for about 7 or 8 months and I've put around 1000 rounds of the federal bulk with no problems except for 3 or 4 dud rounds. I love it and would recommend it to any one looking for an ar style 22
Definately have to get one of these because I love AR-15s but I love buying 500+ rounds for $20 even more! I can save my bigger calibers on the range for more of a treat and just get used to greater recoil, but I'm really sure I want some .22s because ammo is just so spendy now. Even bulk 9mm can't compare as far as price goes.
@markssite now that would be cool.its still fun to shoot. i wish id bought the s&w mp15-22 though. its a far better design than the colt (umarex) .22 saving my pennys and one day ill have one.
@markssite Probably because 22LR is a rimmed cartrage. I bet things would get messy in there if a rimmed cartrige was doublew stacked in a magazine. The rounds would be pointing all over the place!
Congrats. I have the M16 22 by colt and I love it too. I too am looking into a red dot like yours. I have a blast with my rifle. Best 22 rifle I have ever owned.
@jknacasual When I was packing up to leave,I found a 50 round box of lapua in the bottom if my range box. I would have video,d that group but I already compressed this vid. The grouping of the lapua was about 1/4 th the size of the walmart bulk that I used in the vid. This is the funnest gun I've ever had.
we do not need a transprtation extroidinair with one eye.......please were shooters glasses next time.......you mow the yard more than anyone ive ever seen........hehehehe....nice gun
@ironhead41 your right i should. i usually wear my sunglasses but it was overcast today. i mow my yard cause the #@$%&#%^!!! grass wont stop growing. i even mowed the old lady next door because her 45 year old son who still lives at home and has never had a job his whole life wont even mow his yard with a riding mower. the gun was a BLAST!!!!! i cant wait to go back with better ammo. it is now my official HIGH SPEED PROJECTILE LAUNCHING CAT ERADICATION TOOL !!!!

When you take off the carry handle are there rails on the upper receiver or do you have to install them yourself?
