I am one of them Bohemian Ladies born and raised in Pilsen, My family came to Pilsen in the 1800's it was a great place to grow up in. I left with my husband in 1973, as a widow I wish I could afford to move back home. but I can't I came to visit last year it was great, the houses in Pilsen are at least 125 years old, now I can't even afford the rent there & that's sad Pilsen will always be home to me.My Mom was baptised at St Procopius Church, I lived on 18th and Wood, Thanks for the Video.
Seriously its not the local goverments fault we're living in a country with a broken economy property taxes are going up, as for oil goods are going up people are getting pushed out because they dont have the proper education to make what the standard Net income to support so seriously make my job easier its not like we have any say in what goes up so this movie is so bias and this is how hispanics want to be viewed as to be seen as victims than go have self pity
Major face lift or not, its not right to be bringing up the prices like that, its messed up people who could barely pay rent, are being pushed out. A neighborhood is not the same when you take out the people that made it interesting... I'm not talking about the gangs/violence. Is security/police so bad, the only way to fix violent acts is by putting up condos, bringing up the prices?
