  • a girl could do it..thumbs up! HAHA!!

  • Hey, how are your headlights holding up? Have they hazed soon afterwards?

I've been reading that once you sand, you will have to keep sanding else they will haze rather quickly.

  • its amazing, i was going to replace my headlites

  • @w5a So was I until I found out about this product and gave it a try. I did it over a year ago and they still look clear. Good luck.

  • nice!

i am getting my car painted right now and i CANNOT WAIT to get this done. my question is one kit good enough for 2 headlights?

  • One kit works for 2 headlights. Be careful about sanding near the edge of your headlight. You dont want to accidentally get to close to your new pain job. Use plenty of the auto masking tape and maybe wait a couple days until your paint is completely dry. Thanks & Good Luck. Over a year later and my headlights still look awesome. What a difference.

  • thats great, i can't wait. thanks for the tips i will definately do that. ill let you know how it goes thanks again!!

  • i forgot to ask, do you think this can be used on the tail lights also?

  • Its so easy a girl can do it. hahaha

  • So all you needed is a standard power drill? Does the kit come with black plastic part to attach it to the drill??

  • It has the attachment piece included. All you need is a drill, the 3M kit, and masking tape. Great Results.

  • I did something similar, only I used 600 grit sanding discs, then 1200 grit and 3000 grit emery paper discs, then standard automotive buffing compound and liquid jeweler's rouge. Probably more expensive overall, but I already had all the stuff. After seeing the video explaining how to use the product you used, I see that it's basically the same thing I did, packaged up in one handy product.

  • Basically the same but maybe the drill made the sanding portion easier. Plus it's fun using power tools right.

  • wow, nice improvement

  • I bought the same Kit and yea It worked :) anything its possible these days. Well my lights were really messed up but now The lens is much more Clearier. Thx :)

  • Hey I got VW GTI 2003 I got the same problem my lights look same like yours. so I cant get the full kit at autozone ? I didnt now they sell this kind of stuff. sweet :) Ill try it today

  • If you have a drill to mount the kit to then yeah they have what you need at Autozone. You should also get the masking tape there and I would double up on the layer because while you are putting presure on the light around the edges you could sand through the tape layer. So 2 layers of tape and go 2 rows of tape wide just to be safe not to buff your paint finish instead of the light. Good luck. Your car will look so much better, like new.

  • Thanks for posting im gonna do it.
