This is what they call "TALENT". No dancers, no fake production techniques, no hate, no violence inducing lyrics. Just a man with an acostical guitar, and a great song. This music will never die because it truly has soul. Im not saying other styles of music won't last, but this is "the shit". Don't doubt me.
His "One Man Band" DVD and CD are still my favorites. I've seen him live several times and his concerts are magic. My favorite by a factor of ten was when he was backed by the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra. I went into the concert slightly ticked off because I only wanted to see him but it was a total mind-blower. I don't know who orchestrated the parts but it was genius. I wish he'd cut a CD of that performance. he also had a French jazz group behind him on several songs. Verrrry tasty.
As soon as the first chord is played I start welling up! .. R.I.P Grandad Ron, may've been 7 years ago, but I still miss you and Nanny Glad. xxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks for sharing this song, the song is so clear compared to some other songs here on youtube, check out some of my vids that im starting up. And this is my fav song by my favorite singer James Taylor!

"Oh the memory is like the sweetest pain. Yeah, I kissed the girl at a football game..."
It reminds me of the bittersweet references from Fogelberg's "Same Old Land Syne" the sorta give one a pain in the pit of your stomach.
As always JT...good stuff.
