@Birkebine in1975 I might have agreed, but Pete's voice is far better than Rogers now. I'd say Pete found his voice between Empty Glass and All the best Cowboys.
Really? I've always preffered Pete's voice over any other singer's, including Roger. He's just so damn passionate. However, in this video, I can see where you're coming from. This isn't his best vocal work.

If you ever get the audio recording or the "Ball" tape or DVD, the full dynamic range of the guitar is more present, quite dramatic and full sounding.
