  • Hi everyone, for anyone who enjoyed this movie I recommend watching the 2007 movie "Shake Hands With the Devil", another true story of of the Canadian General seen in this movie, Romeo Dallaire, based off his novel of the same title. Since this movie is probably hard to find wherever you live, you can download it here via torrent: thepiratebay(dot)se/torrent/6170818 This movie is not to be confused with the 2004 documentary "Shake Hands With the Devil: The Journey of Romeo Dallaire"

  • when we were watching the movie at school when pauls kid was hiding under the bed in only his underwear a guy in my class laughed. the next day he was circled behind the school and got beat up

  • its sad so many people died for no cause

  • hey man this is genocide. How could God let this happen?

  • @JoaozinhoManu Because God gave us all free will, that was His greatest gift (that is what love is). If we choose to butcher each other, that's OUR fault, not His. We can't simply do what we like then, when things go sour, turn to God and blame Him! God let's us choose good or evil; if we choose evil then we have to face the consequences. Besides, the Virgin Mary even appeared in Rwanda in the 1980's to warn us! We took no notice, it's OUR fault and our fault only. I'm sick of people blaming God

  • @dessert57 your right im very religious too i know god didnt do this but why did he let this happen.

  • if that happened to me id die just there !!

  • this makes me sick. they have no respect for the dead..

  • @beckie5001 You clearly haven't seen the movie

  • @kickodude i saw it two weeks ago.. what are you talking about. lol how would you know?

  • @beckie5001 I think you're slightly misunderstanding Darkshadow and Kicko, Beckie. Paul was indeed the man who protected all of those people by letting them live at the hotel and he risked his life for them, but the other guy in this clip was an asshole. He tried to blackmail Paul and then betrayed him. THAT'S the guy Darkshadow and Kicko are talking about :P

  • the guy beside paul is an asshole

  • @TheDarkshadow427 paul? you mean the guy who was protecting all those people in his hotel. the guy who risked his life to save these people is a jerk? hmm... i belive you are confused.

  • @beckie5001 because i watch the movie and the guy beside paul betrayed him

  • what is the sound track to this scene, the eerie music in the background

  • I had to watch this for an Honors class and it's a life changing movie. I can't even begin to describe how this scene affected me. Everyone in the world need to see this clip, if not the whole movie.

  • All these racist philosophies came in Rwanda 200 years ago along wit the missionaries who thought they could separate people on how they looked. All genocide have the same roots.

  • @Leonce62 The Hutu's and Tutsi's were in conflict with each other for over 400 years long before germans of blegains even set foot in Burundi or Rwanda. You have been spoon fed a bunch of Leftist propaganda.

  • @LordMalice6d9 no you are the one thats misled!

  • thank you for uploading this scene. honestly ive tried just to find this one scene. and it was very hard to find. I plan to use it in my philosophy class. thank you.

  • @garrus92 hi Garrus go ahead and use it so what philosophy will it be used in

  • @seenenough Its a simple college introductory philosophy class, but were currently going over ethics, and why people do the things that they do. and this clip from Hotel Rwanda shows the true horror of the Rwandan genocide.

  • @seenenough It can be used in the Evil and suffering topic, A'Level Religious studies
